  • Today, I am talking to Joe Jonas. Joe rose to fame, alongside his brothers Kevin and Nick, as a member of the pop rock group Jonas Brothers. The band became one of Disney's prominent figures and even took the lead roles in the widely successful musical television film Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.
Joe opens the conversation by sharing how he had come to love meditation and how this has helped him appreciate self love even more. We talk about his struggles as a solo artist, the realization that he needed professional help which eventually led to therapy which then led to the understanding that his feelings were valid. Joe is proud of his humble beginnings and how this affects our perspectives, becoming a husband and a father, and the value of staying connected to the people that you truly care for.
    What We Discuss:
    00:00:00 Intro
00:03:31 Creating a bond through meditation
00:08:35 When did you start to work on yourself?
    00:17:02 Respect for individual creativity
    00:22:25 Venturing into acting
00:26:18 Inspiration to develop a good work ethic
00:31:23 Humble beginnings is so essential
    00:35:58 We’re each other’s best friend
00:38:41 Enjoy every moment with your child
00:41:28 An unforgettable experience with a therapist
    00:43:27 What’s your daily routine?
00:47:08 An interview with Vanessa Bryant
00:49:37 Sometimes it better to reach out first
00:52:53 Keeping relationships as healthy as much as possible
    00:57:29 Final Five with Joe

My heart always melts to hear Joe being described as ''the sweetest'' by many interviewers. I've been a fan of his for YEARS, and it makes me very happy to know he is indeed a great guy. I've always had a feeling he is :)

Your introduction had me tearing up. As a Joe Jonas fan for over a decade now, I've always had that instinct to tell how great of a person Joe is, (even without really knowing him haha) but you just confirmed it. Loved this interview. Love Joe's heart and vulnerability.

Been a Jonas fan since 2007. I absolutely love how he said he's got to think of the fans at the show, if it's someone's first time experiencing it even though they're doing the same show every night. You can really tell in their concerts how hard he works to make it a great experience for everyone. Love it, love them!

When Joe mentioned about writing a letter to your younger self, I thought about trying that method..& thinking about it made me so emotional!🥺💔

I actually have. And it will make you cry. It’s a reflection meditation. You write to your younger self with your strong hand and when you write back in your weaker hand… listen to your thoughts. Your inner younger self will speak to you in response. It’s powerful.

I saw Joe back in 2011 when he toured for the Fastlife album here in Vancouver, and this was 2 years after I saw the Jonas Brothers in concert here and it was a completely different experience. Joe didn't seem like himself, and this makes total sense why now. Thanks for doing this interview- it's great to see you get help for the things you need internally to live an externally wonderful life. I'll always support you, Joe!!

I recently saw an Instagram post, maybe it was for one of the brothers’ bachelorette party, but they were all wearing ‘FastLife’ T-shirt’s including Joe. Watching this interview now, and knowing his struggle in that time of his life- that is truly what you call resilience. I am proud of Joe for taking pain and trauma and being able to move past it by enjoying the album and proudly wearing the T-shirt. We love Fast Life too ❤

I have attempted to meditate many times in my life and prior to this CD the only success I've experienced is with live guided meditation. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq This is the first CD I've used that cuts through my unmedicated ADHD and enables me to truly relax and experience a quiet and energizing interval. The instructors voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to. I am easily able to sit successfully through the entire CD, and for quite some time after. I cannot adequately express how tremendously helpful this CD has been on my spiritual journey!! Two thumbs up and 10 stars!

It’s heartbreaking to hear that he was the one that filed for divorce and hearing him say he first called off the engagement due to cold feet and she was understanding of that, made him panic and got back with her again. It’s a proven fact they didn’t have a strong foundation to commit into marriage, and unfortunately a lot of relationships start out that way. Mine did, 18 years w/3 kids later still madly in love but theirs still so much work to do.
Marriage is a lifetime of commitment you don’t get to clock out it’s probably one of the hardest yet fulfilling and joyful moments I will ever experience and I will go through it all over again, because finding your person to grow old with and share experiences with is better than being alone and if you found that person why not try to make it work seek marriage counseling…But it sure is easy to just give up especially when you have money to start new. It definitely takes two individuals to make it work.
