Got my CBT tomorrow morning. Proper bricking it, only ever ridden a bike once on private land and it took me 15 minutes to start! Hope I pass, got my little Yamaha YBR waiting for me at home.
THANK YOU SOO MUCH RJH THIS IS REALLY USEFUL IM GOING FOR MY CBT AT THE END OF THE MONTH AND THESE VIDEOS ARE SOO HELPFUL TO LEARN FROM AND WHAT TO EXPECT
I've got a car license but looking to get a bike one eventually so enjoy these videos. I'm curious, what would happen if you dropped the bike (assuming borrowing) on a cbt. Does that come out of the customer's pocket I imagine?
I did my cbt yesterday and it was awful, I’ve never even sat on a motorbike before he stood in the distance and told me to go in a straight line but couldn’t balance and get my feet up and just came off he told me I’m not cut out for this. The last time I even rode a bicycle was 15 years ago plus I told him I wanted to do it but I can’t see my self going back in a while I was with 3 other guys that were just renewing their cbt so they wizzed through it and couldn’t go any further because of the others needing 2 instructors so had to leave at lunch do you have any advice please
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. We really pride ourselves at introducing you to the fantastic experience, in a safe manner. Where did you go? Have you expressed your dissatisfaction?
Not your fault. Sounds like you had a bad instructor. When I did my CBT, I was nervous and had never ridden a motorbike. I'm also not that strong so that makes even those small bikes quite heavy. The guy that instructed me got me through it all and I loved it. Probably because he taught me all of it and was the nicest guy. Just try again somewhere else.
red felix hi, it was at damerells in Cornwall safe to say I’ll never go back it has put me off motorbiking I haven’t found the confidence to do it again no matter how much I want to
@@Beatzfus1on please look into other instructors, it sounds like your first one was a complete waist of time, trust me mate, just try it one more time with a different instructor, and i bet you will be a lot more comfortable, you could even ask if they do 1 on 1 training
Turn your volume up!! I can hear it. Admit though it was taken with an iphone, so external noise is higher than normal! Out of a matter of interest have you listened to some of our other video's? Some great ones there! Positive comments are welcome too you know!
+Digimutant I haven't got on the road because I'm too short! I was all ready to go and really positive and I couldn't get over any of the bikes or scooters (they were too wide) so i am completely gutted. Thanks for asking
I am shitting myself for my CBT. xD also for the CBT do you need your own gear to use or not? I have my gear but I am absolutely terrified as the last time I used a bike was when I was 14. my dad had a private track as his side of the family are all bikers.. my older brother is an instructor but haven't spoken in three years. I need help with shifting gears, I don't know. apparently it's hard to fail a CBT though, is that true?
+Sons of Danarchy Relax, enjoy and do your best. I'm sure you will be fine. You just need to show your safe. Check with the school, most supply the necessary clothing etc....
First time on a moped failed my CBT found it hard to do figures of 8's own thing I don't understand about the course is how I'm supposed to get better without practicing seems like they just want your money to keep forking out for training 😂

Different Schools operated different policies. Check with your school first.
How many times is it necessary to say 'Yeah'? Just asking..
As many times as he wants....Yeah 😎😎
Give the instructor a mic on the yard
I know right can’t hear a god damn word

Hi LFC2k18. I’m taking my CBT soon. May I know where you took yours? I’m sure your instructor is not fit to be one. Stay safe!

So when im 16 i'm getting a 50cc Scooter, When i'm 17 Can I get a geared 125cc Bike or have I got to have a 125cc scooter?
As it is on 30/7/16 you can ride a manual (geared) on an Auto CBT. That could/should change in the near future.
I'm taking my CBT next Thursday and this is worrying for me as I am dyspraxic
Siricerasi Explain this to your Instructor, they should help you as much as you need.
+RJH Motorbike Training Manchester thank you

Its all about safety. Sometimes it takes a little longer but a decent school won't just be thinking about money. Yes its a business but also safety
Yehhh!
