  • Pravin Godkhindi is a renowned flute (Bansuri) player following the Hindustani style of music. Pravin is a trained Electrical engineer who plays traditional Hindustani style of flute as well as contemporary. He is a master of thanthrakari style who started learning flute from his father Pandit Venkatesh Godkhindi at the age of three and has experimented with fusion of both Indian and Western music. The "3 generations" concert which he performed with his father Pt Venkatesh Godkhindi and son Shadaj Godkhindi caught the attention of flute lovers all over the world. He was awarded the title "Suramani" at the age of 16. He is the first south Indian Bansuri artiste to be graded "A-Top". He is also the first Indian to perform on the 8 feet contrabass flute, which he renamed as GOD's BANSI. Pravin Godkhindi is a renowned flute (Bansuri) player following the Hindustani style of music.
