- Mansi Mehta is 15, her journey has been inspiring! Against all odds, she got the courage to work for the girls who do not get formal education. She runs a foundation to educate girls from marginalised background and advance her dream of a literate country.
Mansi Mehta is a 15-year old student studying in Surat. She has published a collection of poems under the title "I AM ME" dedicated to Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai. She is amongst the few teenagers in the city to run her own foundation where she teaches underprivileged girls and advances her dream of a gender-equal country through education. She has been awarded the Garima Award by Gajera Trust for her work.
Being one of the few to join the prestigious league of teenage TEDx speakers in India, Mansi takes inspiration from personalities like Sudha Murthy & Malala Yousafzai and preaches the idea that people need to accept the social disparity between genders, for the society to collectively move forward.

Be a social worker is really good job to help others to fullfil their dreams bcz to see big dream is the basic for everyone and it should be allowed.i m also from a small village from dist deoghar jharkhand where I seen many girls child have no rights of education their parents not send the girls child school . But even any parents send their daughter to school bcz of their marrige.child marriage ,domestic violence is the major problem in my village.i want to do something for those girls child to empower them n make some changes in their tradition..You r the role model for those girls who see dream but not achieved...I know u will be success in your mission .I hope u be happy n makes other happy always ....God bless you..

Mansi, you're doing a great job in shifting the emotional and mental state of these kids towards positivity. These kids are mostly nurtured in scarcity, hopelessness and narrow thinking. "Educate yourself and educate others." Education is the door to the future. We, as human beings have a lot to do. I am very lucky to have free education until my bachelor's, but there are more who do not have an opportunity to learn to read and write. Thus, we must help others to climb the ladder while we are going up. We must give, open hand at least one person. She is a great girl who inspired her sisters and helped many other neighbors. I wish her to continue her journey and expand her foundation day by day. Thank you for sharing your story.
