I have mad respect for you dude. Your work is so profound, brilliantly executed both visually and editorially. You’re making the world a better place one video at a time!
Thank you Nadir! As a big fan of Bourdain, this is the kind of content I’ve been craving. You’ve tapped into the spirit of his show. I am traveling to Tunisia soon, and want to do so in a way that respects the local people and allows me to learn more about their cultures. Inshallah I can visit Pakistan at some point.
Thanks for this video and thanks for shedding light on the very real ways communities in the Global South are being disproportionately affected by climate change. These are realities that deserve our attention.
These videos are always top notch. This is a part of cultural preservation which is so important in these times of quick change and quick loss of culture and knowledge of our histories.
In Love with every second of it Nadir. I didn't want it to end. The way you capture the beauty, culture, people's laughter and sadness. It was amazing ❤ Definitely need a 2nd season of Bad Pakistani 💯
This was beautiful, Nadir! Do show this more to western people so they know what their actions are doing to our beautiful Pakistan and do something about it
Burusho people are not a tribe ! We are a diverse people native to Hunza, Nagar and Yasin, bound together by the Burushaski language. It might be more accurate to describe us as an ethnic group, though our kinship systems involve tribes (Burong, Khurakux, etc.) and within those tribes, there are even more clans. Just a small correction, thank you for sharing our story !! ☺️💕
Did you visit Kalash people? They live in Chitral. They also live in the mountains and are famous around the world for being unique and rumoured to be descendants of Alexander’s army on his conquest of Asia.
The grandma on your right hand side is my khala; she has seen a lot in life, a warrior she is - thanks for sharing this, Nadir. ❤️❤️
