What have you finished recently in your backlog? Or what are you playing currently?
Like 2 years ago i had purchased mad max, i never saw reviews on it or people even discuss the game. I'm guessing it got clouded BY TONS of other games at the time BUT DAMN! i ended up playing through the whole thing and LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!, sure it can be repetitive but car go fast and cars go BOOM! so my FPS brain was in love the whole time.
The story was NOTHING to brag about but it was simple and sometimes that's all u need; Im also a huge fan of starting games at the bottom with NOTHING and working myself up to being powerful.
I finished this year so far, Aer - Memories of Old, Cat Quest 2, Blob Cat and I just finished South Park: The Fractured but whole.

IIRC Devs say the vent aren't to hide loading sections. They're mostly there for pacing and to prevent players from going backwards. Its an alternative to how Call of Duty has you wait for an NPC to open the door and Devil May cry has the red walls.
idk if you've played it before but I recommend gunpoint, it's a clever hitman-like puzzle game
I freaking love the Cult of the Lamb. It's easily one of the best indie games I have ever played
No other game has grabbed me like this one ❤
I like the Miles Morales Spiderman better mainly because of the movement and abilities. I like the movement not because it ties in with the universe but because it's more fluid and realistic.

I've been playing Resident Evil 3 Remake ,despite not being that much of a good remake ,I honestly believe that the game is great and really fun and people are very unfair to it.Another one I played recently is Hellblade ,which was really good ,kinda slow on the start ,but still very good.
I agree, the RE3 remake is actually a pretty good game!
A game I went back and finished in my backlog would be FEAR extraction point. I stopped playing it initially because it kept crashing at one part, I eventually found a fix on github and was able to finish it.

I beat Uncharted 1 and The Darkness. Currently playing Simpsons Hit and Run, it's hilarious, and I am planning on beating Destiny 1 soon
It seems funny seeing someone critized Calisto Protocol story. While it lack of context, it's very well written and neatly woven. Which can be summed as 'alright' to certain degree.
On the other side I've almost never seen someone critizing whole RE series story for being bad - mediocore with awful writing and normalized it by perceiving it as 'charm'. Glad RE4 came out to divide even more fans about the story since it has more serious tone and almost without its goofy voice acting
I like Callisto in beginning but by the middle I got very bored

I have my collection split between these two. Both stores often have good deals and sometimes the deal is better on one over the other. So i just buy based on the price. Also epic has free games so even if you plan on only buying from steam, you can open an epic account just to get the free games wherever they give dem out
Bought fallout 4 after watching the absolutely amazing show. Will try it after the next gen update on 25th
Why has 2023 absolutely man handled me im hitting like 15/20 hours for majority of big releases till i put it down for the next big release, example, Hogwarts 15 hours then Jedi Survivor release, then after was diablo and FF16 i just find it hard to full on beat these games which each release coming one after another.
