Could you do a video on deceptive techniques to stealthily cloak and dagger hit the enemy where it hurts the most!? Please would be grateful astronomically
I actually didn't know that my guard drops everytime I threw a punch until I started filming myself. Now I can proudly say that I fixed my bad habits. Thanks Tony 🙏
same, i started filming myself, and i can keep my guard up when throwing jabs and crosses, but whenever i throw a uppercut or a hook i let my guard down
Had my first spar yesterday and as soon as he mentioned that I knew that's what I was doing 🤣 damn shits so tough my lungs were on fire by the second round 😭
Please never stop uploading, you're my top 2 coaches I genuinely listen to in all areas for fighting and boxing. I've seen over 80 of your videos, you've taught me how to wrap my hands 👐 Great deadly combinations! (6, 3 body) It all contributes to my confidence and I hope any one who is being bullied sees you as a support guide to build their confidence 💯❤️
I'm not a boxer but I've understood this lesson years ago, and have been training for the perfect jab and that perfect cross. I once saw two guys fight outside of a Teso and a taller guy throw a haymaker which I could see from miles away. I had time to contemplate different combinations before he even throw that punch. Its so weird to say this as I'm not a boxer but it's makes so much sense when you understand this video and practise it. The perfect jab or cross is so much more efficient in terms of speed, accuracy, and you reserve so much more energy. Not to mention the obvious, that mechanically its a stronger punch when thrown perfectly.
I played tennis at one time, just picked up boxing and I have to smile in tennis it was about hitting where they weren't. My eyes were all over the court. Boxing reminds me of the importance of boxing feet patterns...Like ALI he moved all the time and then BOOM...did I mention I am 68! I am loving it!
It's impressive how the little details in boxing can make so much of a difference. For example, I had problems with landing the cross, so my coach told me to move my rear foot 2-3 inches away from the lead foot and boom, I was able to land the cross a lot easier.
The best thing about learning from tony is that you don't lose your nature of fighting unlike other coaches who change your actual nature of fighting in an attempt of correcting the technique.
I was told a very similar thing when I was about 15. IT WORKS! I hate to fight, but I can if I need to. An old badass guy showed me this very thing, right down to the details. I appreciate knowing that guy. Thanks Perky Dan!
Before I watched your videos when I fight I always put my hands down and doesn't even move properly and punch properly and I was really slow. But after watching your vids I actually looked like a pro and I was faster, stronger, and relaxed. Thanks man for this free boxing lessons 🥊❤️
I've started tae jitsu recently and plan to start mma when I move to Liverpool from Ireland. Have to say your videos have been a great help in improving my punches. Thanks mate
I'm not a pure boxer. However, i have experience in mma and combatives as ex military and Toni is an extraordinarily good teacher. In addition, a meritorious elite boxer. So my question is. Who are the two idiots giving the thumbs down for such a professional lesson?

Thank you Tony, like always you deliver good accurate info. Anytime I comment I have to always give thanks to you even if it's something that I'm way past, but I always believe in going back to the fundamentals to make sure everything is how it should be. Also videos like these help me teach others and also my kids. I really appreciate the fact that you take the time to put out vital info for free!!!! That is very awesome of you, so thank you.
@@Tony_Jeffries I started boxing age 11 and took to it like the proverbial duck to water - I was working the heavy bag one night and an Aboriginal guy came up to me and started teaching me - He taught me stuff just because he wanted to - he was the cousin of Lionel Rose the World Champion - I never forgot that which he taught me.
As always, great advice from an expert boxer. As an amateur, I make the mistake of throwing haymakers with my cross instead of doing what Tony teaches. "Perfect practice makes perfect."
Great video champ. One thing I learned, I did and still do throw the 1 2 3 holding 10 pounds weights and moving slow. That showed me proper technique, how it feels when it's thrown right and wrong, and the muscles that are needed from the toe to the fist.

Great video. Very true you can be practicing consistently and making little mistakes every time in effect actually getting worse. I like the video idea or having a trained eye watch you. Thanks for the tips I will put them to use.
I love this punch, recently I’ve gotten way better at it through the years and it’s funny to see peoples reactions when I lift a bag off the chains 😂 Doing the same with my power jabs, it’s a shit ton of work but I’m making it work!
About three months ago when you dropped the video about faster punches someone asked you to do one about the equipment needed to start boxing, have you made that video and I missed it?

Go over stepping forward and throwing rear more. Show footwork. Can do without jabbing first?
