I'll vouch for J.H. Kalmore, they have a nice selection that gets updated fairly regularly, the quality of the stone is quite a bit better than I had expected and the prices are really reasonable...well, except for the Purple Passion agate, but that's to be expected. However, they do turn over their stock pretty quickly, so if you see something you want in stock, don't sleep on it. I was going to order some Moroccan seam agate, but I waited too long and now it's gone.

You sound well! ....from my many experiences in this life I've learned that rocks collecting and such make the perfect place to escape daily rigors, finding and holding each in kind .... though in doing so my home and flower beds have become cluttered by all those past mineral rendezvous and stony trysts! Whomever said daydreams can't be lasting, hasn't gazed long into the inner depths of an agate, must be impervious to falling in love, deniers of beauty, or they merely lack all imagination and need a big ol' hug! Just a couple days ago I went to a friends house to pick up some huge Mexican terracotta pots, and one small pot. The small pot was filled with Mexican crazy lace stones. I have not been able to stop cutting and polishing them since I got home. Best part was I got it all for $0. BTW, That Jasper thunderegg has to be one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Just wow, crazy.
Wow those were incredible agates. One might say crazy. But totally beautiful. All the riot of colours and some of them had such fine banding like that one that was pinky grey that you cut in half. Wonder if there is such a thing as a iris crazy lace agate. That would be a very cool combo iris agate with crazy lace patterns. JH Kalmore is the best. Way reasonable prices with great stock! But like R.A. said, it goes fast. My fav is Laguna Lace agate. The only problem is the agate can be fractured and upon cutting a great slab there can be cracks that dont fare well when cabbing. Love the mexican agates!

Absolutely beautiful specimens....the third one cut might be my favorite, the first slice had some zones that resembled abalone/labradorite flashes....but they were all very nice.
Now you made me order from JH Kalmore…I was happy to see they are based in my state of Texas. I ordered Celestine Blue Chalcedony (which looks gorgeous), Flor de Durazno agate and Rosetta Lace agate. I am going to tumble them…Thanks!

* Drogon cut you a Dragon at the 6:13 mark. So Fantastic.. The slab at the 11:00 mark is my Fave. Would you be making a pendant of it?? ~ The slab from the Laguna agate has the orange folded veil & I really like it at the 11:33 mark.. ~ The banded Agate at the 14:45 mark might be Iris Agate. Can you shine a high powered flashlight in from an angle in the back?? See if it changes colors?? ~
So glad our house is perched up high... so much flooding everywhere... 😔 Poor red lodge, livingston, yellowstone national park...the power of mother nature. We love what she does by churning the rocks, but I'd never wish the flooding and devastation of all the homes and businesses 😔

I had purchased some crazy lace agate from a mine in Georgia, and while it is beautiful in its own right, it doesn't even compare to the Mexican crazy lace! That's some beautiful material! Thanks for sharing!
How much of this beauty will never be seen? Billions of times more than we see. That's just Earth. There are other planets. Billions. Maybe trillions.....of gemstones and agates and virtually any other possible thing. It's almost sad to not see it ALL. It's hidden except for the tiniest of infinitesimal fractions. We see only that.

The colonel at Pulitzer has a tumbled 35 pound crazy lace. It's insane I've never seen one that large polished.
I saw that one and it's forever burned in my mind as the most awesome agate in the World!!!!!
