    Some private universities have teaching hospitals, e.g ABUAD, Babcock. Babcock quota since 2023 is 120 and ABUAD has the highest quota of 200 in medicine in Nigeria. Try and get your facts right.

      @kennedyekeh3056 either you didn’t understand the video, or you barely watched it.
      I never said private medical schools don’t have teaching hospitals, for any school to get accredited to offer medical courses, whether partial or full accreditation, they must be affiliated to a teaching hospital.
      What I said is that the federal owned teaching hospitals are better staffed and equipped. A federal hospital can afford to employ and pay many consultants, you hardly find this in private owned hospitals.
      ABUAD having a very high quota is like an exception. that’s not applicable to other private med schools. ABUAD having a very high quota is even a business model, in order for them to get back high ROI, they don’t even rank among the top 10 teaching hospitals in Nigeria.
