It depends on what jamb sets as the official cutoff mark.
However, there’s hope, just maybe not in a federal university though.
Practically, I know someone who secured admission into engineering with a similar score in a private university.
But if i apply for another course,and in 100l can i write another jamb,so the jamb result is good,am i going to pay new money like fresher

313 is a great score.
How’s your O,level results, because U.I also take that into consideration.
The best you can do, is to reach out to a medical student or in year 2 or above in U.I, and be sure of all their requirements.

To be honest with you, 244 may not get you into federal, if you can afford private, that would be great.
Besides, you should be able to analyze your situation since you’re already in the system.
However, still hope for the best as you have nothing to lose really.
What level are you now?
Well Fouye cut off mark for med is 240 this year...but don't know how competitive it's because it's a federal school. Change of school or course is now available. But since u are already in uni give med a try...if u really want to go for med then don't give up... Check more about Fouye...my friend got 230+ although he wants to study pharmacy and pham cut off mark there is 220...so he's going there, that is how I knew how low their cut off mark is this year.
But if u have the funds for private uni, u can go...I know a lady who became a Dr last year, she used 240 to go into a good school called Babcock uni, just have the funds and no more about this two school i mentioned or do more research about other schools. Don't give up, you can do it & Good luck 🙏🏾

I was told I have a higher chance of admission if I get more than 88% in their Post Utme
Prepare very well for their post utme.
And make sure your o level is upto their required standard, as that will influence your chance.

There are many factors involved.
tbh with you, that score might not get you into federal medical schools.
If you can afford private, perfect. On a general note, you stand a higher chance if you’re from the core north or other educationally backward region in quote as they’re called. You could also try your state uni.
But I will strongly advise you to take one of the alternatives I gave in this video.

No UNN is very competitive. If your sponsor have the financial manpower. Put EBSU. And thank me later. NO POST UTME
Yes, you have a chance.
But it is not 100% chance.
There are other factors that schools take into consideration when admitting students.
Factors such as quota, catchment area, your state of origin, how many are applying from your state, and what are their scores?
And generally, how many people are applying for this school, and what are their scores.
At the end of the day, they’re going to rank all the applicants.
And they will take the highest scores to make up the merit list.
Second list, is the top scorers from each states that applied(federal schools do this)
Then the subsequent lists too have criteria that apply.
No one can know for sure whether of a certain you’re going to be admitted, except you scored above 330, and your o, level is very good as well.
Scoring above 295 already puts you ahead, and increases your chance of being admitted.
Do your due diligence, pray well, and ask questions.
If possible, try and get in touch with someone already in UNN, studying medicine and surgery, and get first hand information.

Your son did well in Jamb and GCE.
All things being equal, he has a good chance of getting in.
But it will be great if you can get in contact with unilag med school to get first information.
Best from a lecturer or a medical student in that system, it will really give you an edge. Because medicine admission requirements and criteria varies from one med school to another.

Although a federal uni in ekiti which is Fouye their cut off mark for med is 240 this year...u can do more research on it
My brother scored 298. He only has one B in his result. The rest are A's. What's his chances this year at UNN
Of course he has a chance.
But he needs to prepare very well for the post utme, that’s where the major fight is.
He should get relevant materials and start preparing.
Post utme is about time, ie how fast you’re in answering not just whether or not you know something, and also composure, adequate preparation will help with that.

First of all, you need to buy a change of institution form from jamb, go to any jamb registration center, and they will assist with that.

Sir please i really want to become a gynaecologist, can i study nursing and still be a gynaecologist?
You can only become a gynecologist by reading medicine and surgery.
However, you can also become a midwife, while a midwife works with gynecologist/obstetrician, a midwife is not a doctor, they’re same as nurses.
To become a gynecologist, one would first have to read medicine for 6yrs, proceed to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology.

204 is a good score, but not enough to get you into public medical school.
I scored 201 in jamb , please can I study MLS or medicine in oau
201 is a fair score, but I can’t guarantee that you will get mls or medicine with it because of how competitive those courses are in federal universities.
You can also do your due diligence if you know what I mean.

While 307 is a great score, if you must stand a chance, you need to score very high in their post utme.
So, start preparing for their post utme right away.

This is your assignment in order to ascertain whether you stand a chance; try and connect with a student already in the department you’re trying to get into in the same school, and ask directly.

You did very well in jamb, congratulations.
Since you don’t have As or Bs in your o level results, try and avoid med schools that uses that as a criteria.
All things being equal, 341 can get you into any medical school, even with your 5 credits.
Just make sure to do your due diligence.
Ask questions and be sure of the school you’re applying into.

270 is a great score. But I won’t guarantee you that it can get you into federal or state medical school.
I am not saying it can’t either.
You have a chance actually, but there are a lot of other factors you need to consider like I mentioned in the video.

Like I explained in the video, cutoff mark depends on the average performance of people who are applying to study the same course in the same school with you.
Generally, 270 is a good score on a normal day, but there are other factors that influence medical admission.
