    what rank a candidate should get in exam for getting admission in niper?

      All the students who have qualified either GPAT or GATE are eligible to appear for the NIPER JEE and this number changes every year. If possible I will upload the Cut Off of Last year, right now focus on study, I will upload videos related to NIPER very soon, share the videos with your junior also. thank you

      You can use that formula also, in this video I have explained the basic way of solving the problem. Short cuts are useful but basic things are essential.

    Calculate the percentage of ionized and unionized form of captopril with knowledge that captopril has to pka1 is 3.7 and pka2 is 9.8 .
    Calculate in blood plasma (ph is 7.4)
    And in stomach ph(1.9 ) as well as in intestine (ph is 7.4) .
    Discuss and make comparison between these media and which one is the best for captopril to be used as hypotension drug(estimate bioavailability and permeability of the these forms)? Can you solution this proplem please🌹.

    but calculators aren't allowed in GPAT, how are we supposed to take antilog without calculator?

      Antilog X = 10x (Antilog of X is equal to to 10 raised to X)
      Or simply remember the table and calculate accordingly. All the best

    Sir... questions no 8 is some what not uderstanding for me..as per table it's ryt...but see...
    pH -pka =-1 for weak base..%ionisation would be 90.9%..but antilog of 1=10..then how??? Please once see and tell me sir..

      In question no. 8, pH-pKa= -1, that means
      -1 = log [B]/[BH+]
      Now take the antilog, Antilog of -1 is 0.1 (not 10 as you have mentioned)
      0.1= [B]/[BH+]
      Which can be written as,
      1/10 = [B]/[BH+]
      Total= ionized + unionized = 10 + 1 = 11
      % ionization = Ionized upon / Total = (10/11)x100
      = 90.90%

    Sir in Q. 9 if ibuprofen is a base.. Then how it comes 100:1 as it is dissociate : undissociate.. please explain.

      One presentation pH - pKa = 2 , concentration ratio for both acid & base for this value is 100/1 only..if there is -2 then concentration ratio for both acid & base will be 1/100..go through that table..Sorry sir for explaining it in place of you..By the way am I right ?

      My dear friend there is slight correction, if pH - pKa = 2,
      for acid, Ratio of dissociated to undissociated value is 100/1
      for base, Ratio of dissociated to undissociated value is 1/100
      This happens because for Acids and bases, in Haderson Hasselbalch equation there is change in the ratio of ionized form and unionized form.
      So, the important things you have check in question are
      1) Whether it is asked for Acid or Base and
      2) Whether it is asked for Dissociated to undissociated OR undissociated to dissociated.
