  • Wondering what to do after a binge?! 😣🤦🏼‍♀️
    READ THIS:
    Just know you’re not alone. I find myself binge eating at times especially around the holidays.
    It’s never good to starve yourself after a binge. Give your body the nutrients it needs to work efficiently to regulate and find its way back to normalcy. Also remember, you can’t gain pounds overnight! AVOID THE SCALE!
    Here are a few meal options to eat the day after a binge! :)
    BREAKFAST options:
    -1 🍳 , spinach, 🥑
    *Spinach is full of vitamin B2, which helps metabolize fat.
    - 🍌
    *They’re packed with potassium, which can ease the effects of a sodium-high diet and help level out blood pressure.
    - Oatmeal
    *You’ll get 1-2 grams of fiber, which helps lower cholesterol by kicking it out of your system before it can set up shop.
    LUNCH options:
    - Veggie salad with vinegar
    • Vinegar can lower your glycemic index after a carb fest.
    - A simple veggie soup - I can add a recipe if you want :) 🍲
    SNACK options:
    - 🥒 , 🥕 , 🌶 , and hummus
    - Small handful of nuts
    DINNER options:
    - Salmon and veggies -
    •Fish like salmon delivers brain-boosting omega-3 fatty acids, but it also gives you a protein pick-me-up. Protein helps keep your blood sugar steady and may even help prevent sugar spikes after a carb-heavy meal.
    - Vegan Option: Veggie bowl (Sweet potato, greens, beans, quinoa)
    TIPS TO REMEMBER THROUGHOUT THE DAY:
    1. Drink Plenty of 💦 with 🍋
    2. Fill up on veggies
    3. Do a cardio workout 🏃🏼‍♀️
    4. Get in some Yoga to aid in digestion 🧘🏼‍♀️
    5. Protein and fiber will help keep you satisfied throughout the day
    6. Try to avoid over or under eating.
    Practice mindful eating. I call this "Eating Pretty" More on this in a later post! ❤️
