This is a prime example of how I feel that a "mediocre" tattoo is many times just a good tattoo that's unfinished. I definitely relate to how ye mentioned putting in more time than ye want, or more specifically than your patron might want. Often that translates in a client's mind to, "Well, can you do it smaller?" My main preaching point to my patrons is that they need to get the tattoo they will be happy living with, not the tattoo they think they can swing at the moment. In a decade or more, ye won't care if ye finished the tattoo next month instead of today! You'll for danged sure care if it's unfinished or the wrong size, though. (End Artist Rant. Hahaha...) excellent and informative. love the the paint effect look. i have a chayanne thunder with a critical power supply. you think bugpins mags will make the piece more vibrant compared to regular #12 needles. what are u running on your power supply when using the pen for this color piece. also what's your setup for your black and Greys, which is also amazing stuff. Are those ttech cartridges? thank you

Another great teaching video, very well explained and easy to understand. Was really happy to hear you bring up using larger needles configurations to avoid hyper detailing Everything the same. I am Constantly fighting that and trying to be mindful and Not to do too much w detailing everything the same. Thanks again Sir!
Man!!! this is the best channel out right now!!! for instance, i didnt know i can use a liner as a shader somewhat....i thought i would kill the skin that way.....and i also learned to slow down my motions as well, because i would shade in a fast motion, and because of that my colors arent packed in good...lastly i always ran my machine too damn fast....that made my lines look scraggly (sorry couldnt think of a better word)!!!

Great video again. You are teaching me alot of stuff that helps me improve, so thank you. I do have a question, how do you pack in your white? i never realy seem to get it in there for the long run. It fades after a few day's for some reason while i do the exacte same thing i do with colors or black. Is there a special way i can try this out? I apriciate the videos man.
Thanks for watching. I think packing white has more to do with keeping it against dark contrasting colors than the actual technique of putting it in the skin. I just pack it in like I would any other color. I don't typically add white with a mag though. I use a round shader or big liner. I am never really filling a large enough area of white to use a mag
really great. and i think for every tattoo there is a very bi jump on what and how you can do things to the tattoo. what i get sometimes is that ones am done and the person goes home then i start to kind of digest what i did and could have done better for would like to add to the tattoo. thanks for you videos they inform and open new venues of thinking in respect to tattoos and art in general =)
I agree. That is one of the main reasons that I try to look at all of my healed tattoos. I feel like I can always do something to improve the piece. Thanks for the comment

It's a Euro standard studio and the only one on here with a Finish and a French tattooist, both different styles than me but are excellent to work with and very helpful. Also once I start earning some money as I'm doing them for free at the moment I will send you some money for your foundation! Thanks again guys for helping me not make the mistakes that I'm 100% sure I would of done without all your info!

What size round shader did you use? :)
what's the difference between a round shader and round liner needle grouping? or are they the same and the diffrence is in the machine they are in?
Liners are tighter together
