It's very hard to contain your control when it comes to your children or the lack of seeing them. I know I've been there for 15 years, but I've realized long ago that the only person that gets hurt by acting out of disbelief was Me. Being legally married she can run from state to state and there isn't anyone that's gonna fight for me. Getting into the system is the worst thing a person can do. • @Marvel101-t2j

Gray area. Innocent until proven guilty. The premise is that if you aren't a trustworthy person then others won't post bail and you are also likely guilty. Tacking on too much extra time or retaliating verbally could open up grounds for an appeal based on bias (supposedly); a defendant could argue "they had it in for me, so they gave me more time than I deserve." It's in the court's favor to _not_ retaliate -- and besides, why stop someone from fashioning their own noose?

You can't always ensure that the accompanying court staff are a physical match for every defendent on a daily basis even if there were no female guards.
As in, sometimes there will be a smaller _male_ transport officer than the defendent and if the oversized defendent kicks off then being a male will be of little consequence.
So it also doesn't really matter if small female officers are put in the same position.
Because _normally_ it doesn't matter 🤷‍♂
Here in the UK we have Dwarf (like little people) who act as Police Support Officers, and whilst highly unlikely to be able to chase a fleeing criminal they are perfectly capable of detering crime just by being on the beat.

As A Deputy Sheriff, I have been involved with suspects who acted much worse than any of these cases while in court and certainly out of court. . They just didn't look as crazy as I got them under control quickly. During one, the guy farmer blew his nose, and it went right into my mouth, I then got cross pepper sprayed by another deputy aiming for the suspect. That one was pretty wild as his family was in the courtroom. Having another person's snot in my mouth and eyes was the grossest thing I have ever had happen to me, just disgusting! Because he was a mental patient, I couldn't even request charges for what he did. Oh well, all part of the job, I guess.

Very unjust that the brother was handcuffed and "removed from the court", whatever that is: it very certainly is not "just removing him from the court", since his brother was not in the court anymore at that moment, and he *himself* was not violent *at all,* so they could have just told him to leave and he would have left, it is *very obvious* they never did (asked) that, there was never a reason to handcuff him *at all.* Clearly unjust and unfair.

Violating no contact orders and then fighting cops doesn’t get your kids back. It shows that you clearly can’t control yourself.
