    My anatomy instructor always pronounced the terms in the same manner... it totally avoids confusion. Thanks for your great work with the trigger point videos. I practice these techniques daily and solve way more complaints than my early days of adjustment only practice.

    It's just a way to distinguish between the words adduction and abduction, as they sound very similar. My old anatomy professor use to pronounce it that way and I guess it stuck with me.

    why does she keep saying a b duction, as opposed to abduction? i was never taught, nor have i heard any other therapist or instructor pronounce it that way. strange
