I have had this model in red for 3 years, and it's not as damaged as the one in the video, although I used it a lot for running. I love it and think it looks good. Full of features and very well constructed in its interior. Glass is mineral (Casio never rate a watch with acrylic with 200 m)
It is probably one of the worst examples I have seen of the Casio DW-291H but as you have mentioned it is a great looking watch, full of features and well constructed! Thank you for commenting! Cheers, Tony - WTA
My 291 is one of my go-to watches. Especially on days when I'm working around the house and need to track my time for things. This watch reminds me of the old "Lost in Space" show. Makes me feel nostalgic. Love it!
A tip for those who like the display of the DW291H but dislike the case, it can easily be swapped with the AE1200, AE1300, WS1600. If you do swap, you will have to take the plastic faceplate and shave both the top and bottom edges just a hair. 5 minutes and a piece of sandpaper and you are good to go. Also coincidentally, this module has the exact same functionality as that of the AE1200. The crystal of the DW291H is in fact mineral crystal. Great video!
@@wetryanythingchannel Sir one thing I would like to ask from you, if I may. If possible please make a video on Casio LWS 2200h watch which is comparatively new and is soon to be launched in some countries but not available in India. I really like it even if it is a ladies watch. Its sleek an has similar functions to that of the Casio WS 2100h. TIA.
Never really considered comparing these two watches but I may do in a video later on down the line with that in mind. I have recently managed to get hold of the Casio WS-1600H so I shall be featuring that very watch on the channel very soon. Cheers, Tony - WTA
this watch used to be a work watch for a construction worker or something similar. i thought the bezel was metal but it seems to be plastic indeed. i thing all the other models in the budget casio hd (heavy duty) line have a stainless steel bezel on top of the case apart from this one. also all the models in the HD line have a mineral crystal and 200m wr.

But this case is WR200m and those 3 watches cases are wr100m resist.
Love the battle scars!

Dw 291H vs WD 1600 H.

I think it's more a watch Richard Mille would design if he had to design a affordable watch .😊
I have the same one I is a great watch but I have so many watches I dose not get much wrist time but you can see the time ok with the big numbers
Another reason to rotate your collection and wear two watches at the same time. Also change your watches thru out the day.

The black version is a better wearing watch.
