I made ten boxes of suddenly salad for my father's funeral
Love me some american salad. Potato salad, pasta salad, chicken, tuna, I love nothing more then a nice chilled salad or a cold sandwich during a hot summer day! Fresh outta the fridge. I started using suddenly salad and got rhe bacon ranch in an 8 pack from Sam's. It was DIVINE but definitely too strong in flavor. I had a can of corn laying around and figured why not. Perfectly evened out the salad. I planned to add more pasta the second time around, but when watching someone else mix their salad with cucumbers, i tossed in a couple my mom gave me from her garden! Sooooo good, and i enjoy knowing im eating fewer calories with the cucumbers vs the corn or more pasta 😂😂😂 next time ill add some good stuff to it. I already can't wait til my mom's cherry tomatoes come in! 🤤🤤🤤
Funny you say "strong in flavor" because I thought he went way over the half cup of mayo LOL. (Maybe it was just the camera angle?) But then I thought it was good that he did that. You could probably get away with a FULL cup of mayo and save half the dressing for something else to use for. Cause that's how strong that seasoning is LOL.
I only started buying these a couple years ago and now I see they have a Green Goddess one that I'm looking forward to trying. 😋

its funny i used to make these things all the time, then i just bought the noodles seperately along with the veggies and used thousand island dressing.

I was at a friends moms house 10 years ago and she served us the classic as a side for lunch one day. i really liked it so i still buy it to this day. i keep it in the cupboard and make it when im in the mood for it. ive always wanted to add things to it, so maybe ill try doing that soon. great video!!! keep living HIGH!

When I was a kid and used to have like family picnics and then nobody would cook anything they just ordered it out but there was always definitely potato salad coleslaw and other stuff so I would have to say if I had to choose between pasta salad or potato salad as a kid I would go potato salad as an adult I would probably go pasta salad and now I’m on zero carbs so yeah none of them

I'm 36, grew up middle class and Midwestern to the bone. You had no choice but to eat this. And I married a woman who loves this stuff so I can't get away from it.
The bacon ranch goes with just about anything, especially bbq! And the creamy parmesan is awesome with fish! Caesar isn't bad either.
