- Press right on d-pad to activate mega Goku blast in Free Mode (and there's no reset if used on small buildings once).
Up on d-pad to splice buildings into cubes or lift them up.
Down on d-pad to spawn cars. May crash game.
*Warning: Game also crashed whem combining Gigaton blast with the Goku blast thing. I had to hold down the power button on the ps4 to turn it off so probably best not to try it.

Yeah, I refer to Free Mode as a villain mode because it carries the villain mode that players were asking for (no city health bar etc). Def no modding required and tested on ps4.
The hidden powers are fantastic though and spawning aliens would def be a great idea. I hope they don't remove the powers with an update though because they're great fun.

Hey man! Thank you for showing us this video. I read here that you can't use 2 specific powers or otherwise the game crashes, however you can still use other powers. That being said, does the game still reset in the free roam option if you destroy entire cities using the other normal powers or can you keep destroying other cities as long as you don't use those 2 powers?
Yeah, the game still resets :(
A PC mod shows what happens if it doesn't and it literally breaks the game lol. The dev said it has to reset otherwise he'd have to recode the game.
On the two powers, I found over using the duplicate cars/pedestrian power with the red bubble power can crash the game, as can combining the gigaton blast with the bubble power. Other than that, it's open season with the powers. You can also use that bubble dome power twice before it resets, which is pretty cool

@@Jaleyz not a problem at all. At its heart, the game is a crazy arcadey shooter but its endless expansion (if pointless but pretty) into the universe is captivating. It can be tough in places (and rough up close) but it's worth playing as it does some crazy stuff and is very ambitious

I should have paid attention to the description, i combined gigaton blast and the red heat wave and my ps4 just imploded ☠️ luckily i was able to shut it off and turn it back on and the data wasn't affected

No. Hard Mode is just for those who fancy a more difficult challenge. There's no extra reward from what I know.

That's a good question. I can't remember if Free Mode is on psvr as I didn't play the VR mode long. Sorry, not sure

Mods (PC only). Note that when you do, you see why it resets. The blast cripples the entire map. The dev was asked about it and he said it couldn't be removed by a simple patch, he'd have to recode the game, so the reset is just an unchangeable part of it.
I think it’s kind of funny how the church disappeared like that at the beginning. Mainly because science goes against Christianity knowledges, even though the Bible does speak about a lot of scientific type of end times.

That's a good question. I heard someone say it doesn't work on pc while another said it does. The game is out on all those platforms, but I'm not sure of the buttons on pc. Whatever the equivalent to the d-pad is might work

i play on ps4 and i just beat the game and i still have the damage bar please tell me how to get rid of this or how to install the mod on ps4
Yes. Ensure you have the latest version of the game installed. When you beat the game and go back to the main menu, the "Freemode" should appear. You can see this in the menu at the start of the video. I also don't think it unlocks if playing in VR mode.
Guys i play on Xbox why when i use the charged attack on a city the game reloads how do i fix it or is it part of the game?
It's unfortunately part of the game.
There was a pc mod that disabled the reset and the resulting blast pretty much crashes the game.
The developer said he'd have to recode the game to remove the reset so it looks like it's staying.
That said, all other powers work without the reset. (The big bubble blast will work once without the reset, but using it a second time will reset it.)
Anyone know how to not get reset constantly from destroying things on console?
The reset takes place because the game crashes. The reset only occurs with the megaton blast, as the dev noted during a chat as he'd need to recode the game to prevent it crashing. There're PC mods that bypass the reset and everything becomes a wobbly mess. It unfortunately has to reset so the game doesn't glitch out. The other powers should work fine
When I use levitate building too much I straight up get booted to home screen
@@FunkyMonkey3679 I haven't overdid that power, but it's a beauty. The game just can't handle all the things you can throw at it. When I'd the PS4, I tried the Gigaton Blast combined with the bubble dome blast, and my PS4 crashed so hard that I'd to hold my finger on the power button for half a minute just to get it to switch off

Using the minor powers, I'm not sure. I tried destroying loads of buildings and got bored after a while. The gigaton blast causes the ground to ripple and break up, forcing the game to reset though.

I'm not sure. It lasts a few seconds. I haven't seen it go longer or shorter than the default time

No. It works using the d-pad on the controller. Not sure about the PC version. Just make sure, if on console, that everything is updated. Only works on Free Play after you complete the game.

I haven't tested it, but as it's the same code then once you clear the game, go to Free Mode and use the d-pad on the left Switch Joycon to activate the hidden powers.

@@ease7224 well, I'll give you a brief. It's very rough looking up close but that's because it was made by one guy. What he achieved is astonishing. Gameplay is not unlike an arcade shooter with different enemy types making you switch up different powers (that you unlock gradually). You're invincible but you have to be accurate as shooting the city can cause a lot of destruction and end a mission. It takes about 3 or 4 hours to complete. Fly too close and it looks like a PS2 game. What's astonishing is the level of destruction to the buildings. Very like proto-Crackdown 3. Then there's the universe. You have an entire universe with procedurally generated worlds and there's no loading as you move from galaxy to galaxy. Mind, the universe is devoid of life and worlds soon look samey, but it's an astonishing feat by one guy. If you clear the game, you unlock the free mode where you can be a total ass and you do feel like Dr Manhatton. The universe also makes you feel small. The solar system is also fully rendered so you can sail through the rings of Saturn, sit on the sun, land on Mars etc. You can do a smiley face on the moon too lol. I used the exploration part as a tool to teach my young son about the shape of the earth, planets, stars (you can visit and land on twin stars and black holes). You can even blow up the earth. For all its faults, the sheer ambition outweighs them. I'd recommend it, if you can ignore some of the rough edges.

The three powers are bubble dome explosion, lifting the buildings and splicing the buildings. You can also add more cars but this can slow down the game

Wait, I can free roam in xbox?
Yes. There's 2 ways. When you get subliminal flight powers, you can traverse the whole universe and earth (if avoiding the missions on earth) which is technically free roam.
If you complete the game, you get Free Mode, which removes the city health power and you can blow up everything until your heart is content (except for the Gigaton Blast that resets the mode)

The game will always reset if you use the Gigaton Blast and the energy dome attack. If it didn't reset, the game would glitch out and crash. There's a PC mod that prevents the reset and it becomes a wibbly wobbly mess as a result.
You can use all other powers without it (that big energy dome attack can be used twice then it resets).

No, they're debug powers. You can access them in Free Mode when pressing the D-pad. You need to clear the game to unlock Free Mode.

It does. You need to access Free Mode after completing the game. That's the mode where the city's health bar is removed. I tried it there and it still works on PS4/PS5. It hasn't been patched out.

What mission are you stuck on?
That's possibly one of the hardest due to the bombers. But there are a couple of general tips that will help:
- Mission 6, like all missions, are broken into segments. If you clear one segment, but die in the next, the game doesn't put you back to the start of the mission, it'll restart you at that segment in the mission! And the City's health will be refilled right up too. This gives you can advantage to focus on each section.
- Secondly, your powers should have all been reset, too! So, if you die in the third section of a mission, you'll restart that section with full health and all powers.
- Third, the game doesn't tell you this, but if you aim close enough to an enemy, your shots will auto lock to them. So you DON'T need to be 100% in your aiming, you just need to fire slightly ahead of them or close to them and your attacks will auto hit the enemy.
Last, this vid shows how to beat those bombers (I hated them).

(I think you throw the first bomb at the ship, then dig underground and kill the second bomb)
I think the underground bombs are the big ones so try to clear them out by shooting them or pulling them and pushing them away to the sky. Don't rush either, just take each ship as it comes.
You also have big charge attacks and a laser (I think) that will kill them in one shot. It helps to freeze time during the 'Big UFO' lighting up to get a better shot at the correct red panel, ram yellow. And remember to ram the yellow bits on the hammers.
Just don't aim the big charge at the ground or you'll blow up the city lol

You can use one of those big dome blasts once. It's different to the Gigaton Blast. If you use the dome blast a second time, it'll reset

I don't think there are many mods in this game. Obviously, the big mod is to prevent the reset, but given how it literally messes up the game, you'd be resetting it manually anyway as it would become unplayable.
The game is immensely fun as it stands, but it would be nice to use mods

It's not a mod so there is no mod menus. To access the powers, you complete the game and go to Free Mode. The d-pad gives you access to the powers

I've been asked that a couple of times. I don't have the PC version but some say the d-pad on a controller trigger the effects, some say the direction keys on a keyboard while some say it doesn't work at all. This only activates in Free Mode so let me know if you get it working

It's real. If you clear the game and play free mode on consoles (well, tested on PS4), you can access these powers. It isn't fake, I think it's something the dev left in the game

Is there a way to not cut the buildings immediately is there a way to lift them up and not cut them because I can’t figure out how it works it just feels like it’s random if it cuts the building or lifts it.
I haven't figured that out. As it's debug, it might be random either way. The only way to determine is to experiment but I haven't figured out how to do either at will

No matter what gigaton blast resets game
The ball of light will not reset if used once.
Gigaton blast causes game crippling ripples as PC mods show (those that block the reset). It has to reset as it wasn't developed to stop and the dev responded to a similar query where they said they'd literally have to recode the game to make it stop. That said, we live in hope for an update.

Are you in Free Mode? All things blow up without consequence, except Megaton Blast and that big bubble explosion. Using those two powers will reset the game. Everything else should go.
Ensure you have:
*Cleared the game
*Have the latest updates
*Are in Free Mode
*Not using VR (I haven't tested VR)

I don't have PSVR. It might not work in PSVR. You need to clear the game and unlock free mode. Once you do, then you can do this. You don't need mods. Try it in the normal mode of VR mode doesn't work.
@Elegy ah, great stuff. You need to go onto the newly unlocked Free Mode and use the d-pad to use the hidden powers. See the description for more details. I'm not sure it works in VR mode though. It's been a month since I tested it so I can maybe give it another go.
It's also vanilla. No mods needed.

All powers work without reseting except for 2: the Megaton blast and the Goku blast.
The game needs to reset after using these otherwise it would crash. The developer addressed this question by saying he'd have to recode the entire game to skip the reset. Something he can't really do. Hopefully a future patch. But you can use the Goku blast twice before it resets.
Fair enough... kinda wish they would figure out a way to do so destroying a city then coming back to it would be cool or they could at least wait longer til the reset plus that Goku blast or whatever it's called should be able to be used more than once or twice before a reset but thanks for the tip oh one more thing... Is there any way to mod the game???

They still work on xbox/ps4 tho. I tested it and they haven't been patched out :)

It isn't mentioned in the game, but pressing right on the d-pad activates it when aiming the cursor towards the ground in a town/city.
Only works in Free Mode.

@@BlakeSmith17 unfortunately not. You spawn in 'Landan' and then you're free to go wherever. The likes of Rome and Dubai are pretty easy to find. If you leave the solar system, you'll get lost as there's no marker for earth, so you have to restart back in London.
@@starfire451 I found dubai, but still haven't went to Rome yet. I've been trying to find NY navigating in the dark is harder than it appears to be.
@@BlakeSmith17 it certainly tough. Finding the empire state building is worth it though, as is the white house in DC. Adjusting the TV contrast helps a bit and it is where NYC should be on a real map. It's distinct as it's two lit up cities facing each other, but you need to be close to spot it. When you find anything, I find it helps to fly up high and use the static cloud formations to remember where the cities are.
I might also do a vid in future on locations.

To unleash the secret new powers, just enter Free Mode and use the d-pad. Don't mix them up too much or you'll crash the game.
