This was fun to play. It's getting more difficult to find new baritone material. A big thank you, Abigail.

Thank you so much! I’m really trying to get them out more frequently… now that I have a toddler that means focusing a little less on the perfect setting and lighting haha so hopefully I can get lots more material out in the coming weeks!

You are sooooo talented and sweet!! I watch all of your videos, especially the baritone uke tutorials. I'm old, and new to playing ANYTHING, but you are a wonderful teacher, and I'm really enjoying your classes! Thank you so much for another VERY pleasant, sweet and fun tutorial!!😊

Hi Abigail, My channel is primarily Christian songs I have written, BUT I have always had a deep appreciation of jazz standards. In fact, several years ago I had a repertoire of about 35 songs from the 30's that I used to sing in a restaurant (with cd back-up). At the end of February of this year, I purchased a baritone ukelele. (I've had a guitar for some time, but it proved just too big and bulky). The baritone uke suits me just fine. On surfing youtube, I discovered your channel! Perfect for me! I have already learned most of Blue Skies, All of Me, and now Sweet Georgia Brown. Still slow at some chord changes, naturally, but am making progress. Thanks so much, and keep 'em coming!

Hi Abigail - I’ve only just picked up on your channel and was wondering why when you Play the A7 chord, the included notes are: E, G, C#, and E. (Why no “A”) ?

Loooove this question! This tutorial is definitely geared toward folks who don't like barre chords. The A7 I use for this type of arrangement (the E, G, C#, and E, or I call 2020 based on fret numbers) is absolutely a C# diminished chord, lacks the root of A. If we use the root on the G string (2220), we lose the 7th of the chord... and the next logical place to add that is on the 3rd fret of the E string (taking us to 2223). It's totally possible to play that as a 4-finger chord, but I play it as a barre chord. If you are comfortable with the barre chord or 4-finger version, I absolutely prefer the 2223. But most baritone players accept 2020 as an A7 even though it's technically C# diminished! Great catch.

That's a great idea! I've never tried a version that wasn't entirely barre chords hah so I'd be interested to see what I can come up with... Adding to my list!
