Very sobering to see the dark side of touge running. You've inspired me to driver mod through these cinematic master pieces. They really do make me feel like I'm living an era I couldn't be a part of. Glad to see that no one was injured. I can't wait to see a rebuild and future runs that you might film.

That man just made an initial d episode out of you!! Always drive within your limits. Even if he’s getting out of reach, don’t push yourself into a crash! Losing one is better than losing them all or even your life!
Sometimes you have to step out of that and commit but even then there is risk, my first time I went up a rock wall top down with my best friend in passenger, car was fine....miracle.
Second time I came back better tires,smoked competition so hard separate dude bought an S2k.
Fast forward I thought I reached my limit til I faced various extremely fast BMWs. Stock I couldn't keep up, that was my limit.
You have to know when it's time. I'm a nice driver but HP is HP.
Bought a BMW to understand why, they are good cars e36, e46, e92 and 1 series
Just needed to upgrade the car and more HP, but I changed my perspective and admitted defeat.
Go to the track. Get better,

Bro is living the NFS Carbon scene. Mad respect to you for uploading your mistakes. That goes to show us that even the most skilled drivers can be blinded by their fierce desire to not losing putting their lives at risk for the glory of being the best of the best in motorsports, just like Ayrton Senna did for example.
Stay safe out there man. You only get faster and more aware of your sorroundings, skills and capabilities of your ride after incidents like this. I've been there before and crashing from +60mph to a dead stop isn't fun, but the love we as gearheads have for cars, roads and speed is far greater than our biggest fears. Much love man.

Man that road is rough, crazy how split second reactions can send your car sliding. I had this happen in my old accord while spirited driving down the mountain at a ski area I worked at. I drove that same road thousands of times, happens to the best of us.
Same thing for me. I run (ran) a course in my city almost daily at night time after work for ages. Seen headlights while I was 70mph deep around the worst possible blind corner & oversteered. I do not cross the mustard anymore 😂
@@sums6969That’s what my driving mentor told me as a teen when we did ride along. “Take the turn as fast as you can without crossing the yellow”. I stick to the white line like glue
@@sums6969 even with spotters, I can't fathom crossing the double yellows at the speeds they do. Let alone flying over a speedbump over the mustard at 70 😬 some revisions to the driving style might be a good idea
First time I found this channel. BRO I am so sorry for your loss and I am glad you're OK. BMWs are rad as hell, Ive owned an E46 myself and love them......Something seems different about this channel. Ive gone through a few of your videos and jesus bud youre on to something. Your videos catch a certain vibe that new YT stuff doesn't. Its almost like what my brain thinks IRL Initial D would be like.. Youre 100% onto something with this channel. This road is in really poor condition, I don’t drive it other than cruise because it’s unforgiving and destroys your car
the road it pretty terrible. the bumps and gravel in the road ruin the vibe. Plus there are always people using it to drive home so there is always a risk of hitting one of them. There’s a better road about 30 minutes away from this one
Yeah after the first jump I’m out, because this is exactly what happens. You turn, press the gas but don’t expect the jump, so you overcorrect on landing and that’s it, in the ditch

Wicked crash, it's going to be annoying seeing keyboard drivers explain what you could've done better but I hope you are okay.
The biggest thing to overcome when you're back is the psychological barrier that tries to stop you from pushing it again.

@@revloxe36do you think your suspension was a factor in losing control? Looked like there was a hump in the road right before that turn which unsettled the car a bit
@@JohnDoes620 he mentioned that his suspension wasnt built for bumps so it was probably a factor. but that bump just looks gnarly no matter what build u have

Really great video man reminds me of our crew back in the 90's mostly all mk2 VW's We would roll out 10 deep late at night and get it in. A lot of us lost cars we would clip mirrors while passing, roll them and smack guard rails. Luckily no one died , we all walked away.

yep thats's what i thought. these wanna be takumi guys i see all over TH-cam. driving on the other side of the road. if someone doesn't have their headlights on it's over. better to take it to a track or a closed area. i'm lucky to live 3 hours away from the nurburgring so i go there often

I could not find any information in your description or in the comments on what I am writing now:
I am tolerant towards this kind of action on public roads, but please make sure you have a car waiting at the finish which tracks (and perhaps even blocks DURING your races) ongoing traffic. I am aware that the headlights of oncoming cars should be visible from quite a distance, but with that measure you would add an extra layer of safety that no third party gets involved. If you do this already, then my compliments for this foresight.

I crashed my Estoril blue E36 M3 Evo around 10 years ago on the track in the wet. Hit the barriers at over 100MPH. The car was utterly demolished. You couldn't even tell it was a BMW anymore after that. Amazing cars, amazing grip. I've got a 460bhp M240i now. Obviously it's a lot faster than the old M3, but doesn't have the grip or the character of the E36.
