One of the first upgrade I did on my ACTY. Mine had way more play and was basically non existent (bushings). After replacement of bushing and the mounting bushing, it shifts so sharp and clean now. Def would recommend to all viewers.
Long time "listener", first time "caller". Loving the videos: content, presentations, and organization. Keep it up, Ron... my brand new Acty is counting on it!!
Hey man havent seen you upadte in a while but just wanted to say thank you for all the resorses for working on our own kei trucks. THis inspired to me tstart my import process! Hope your doing well hope to see an update on the k swap Kei!!
Great vid and can’t wait for the next one with the wheels! Only shenanigan I had was with the driver side cotter pin…my pick is MIA so me and cotter rassled a bit… That is a great kit Joshua has put together. Quick and easy install. Must have for sure.
Great video. I noticed when you put it 8n reverse, your clutch pedal doesn't grab as high as mine. My '94 only has 15,000 km. So I can't imagine the clutch is worn out already. Any chance you can either do or recommend a video that shows where your pedal grabs and on adjusting the clutch pedal?
I may be able to so a short video on adjusting the throw. It's pretty simple. There are two jamb nuts down by the clutch pedal. You can adjust there the release point.
Hey man. Hard to say. But likely not. Yiu may want to try adjusting the clutch pedal throw. But unfortunately if you are grinding at zero mph transitioning to reverse you may have reverse gear damage.
hey Joe. Im not exactly sure. I never disassembled my Beat shifter when I had it. I would think some of the parts may fit, but not the whole kit. Check out willpoweredperformance.com and see if he knows! Thanks for watching!
I don't know.... but I have heard that people that talk about themselves in the 3rd person, are way more entertaining to be around... Hell, I even like myself better when I refer to myself in the 3rd.... the good news, you never really know which one of us you are talking to..... 🙂
BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK NO DOUBT!!! you're shifting non stop, its so nice to have this kit on your Acty!! thanks again Ron for the vid!!!
Thanks for watching! Definitely the best bang for the buck.
I just did mine today. Thanks for the tutorial Ron! I ended up with only just one thin washer left over after installing my kit.
Excellent, that shifter kit is amazing. Thanks for watching.

Man. Cotter pins are sometimes the bain of my existence. Luckily, this one didn't get me this time. LOL
Thanks for the video! I’ll have to use this as a reference once I order a kit.
Thanks Ryan. Kit it SUUUUPER easy to do. I’ll be getting one for my van for sure!
ExZellent Video! That's my next upgrade!
Thanks BT, glad you enjoyed it!
Like. Commented. Subscribed. Great work!
Thanks Jeff!
Great video. Do you know if a similar kit is made for Suzuki Carry DD51?

Very informative thanks to this video
Thanks Ron.
What about clutch pedal bushings? And the stopper mine is squeaking and missing the stopper
Yep, unhook it from the pedal, grease it and replace the plastic stopper
Can you remove that whole shift mechanism from the cab and take it over to the bench and do it?
Yes of course! Thanks
I miss your content man!
I’ll be back. Got more to do, just been busy! Thanks for watching

Any chance this could fix grinding going into reverse?
Hey man. Hard to say. But likely not. Yiu may want to try adjusting the clutch pedal throw. But unfortunately if you are grinding at zero mph transitioning to reverse you may have reverse gear damage.
@RHD_Ron i'll have to check that out. If when i stop, move forward the slightest bit then reverse it's smooth. It's a weird one.
@@moabgladiator6225 yeah my integra does the same. Could be reverse synchro damage, or a worn gear. 😥
Hey Ron, will this kit work for the Beat shifter also??
I was going to ask the same! Great vid and would do in both my Acty and Beat!

Niiiiiiice!
Thanks homie!
Where can I buy Honda acty carburetor here in Philippines
I can get you one and ship it. Just let me know. Thanks
Why do you speak about yourself in third person… it’s really weird bro.
Haha, just to be silly. Thanks for watching.
