I was thinking of some cool alternative shield options besides the faceted ones: Medusa's Gaze - *_Lower Res proc_* , up to 80 cold res to counter the sunder -res, 9 LL and 20% slow target to stack with Arach and the cold slows (dont think lower res procs if you block) Spirit Ward - *_Fade proc_* , cold absorb to stack up with Ravenfrost and Nightwings, good + all res and high block rate/chance. Eth Exile - *_Lifetap_* to use LoH instead of Dracs, *freezes target* (on theme! haha) INSANE def with high ed/eth rep and lvl 16 defiance aura, offensive auras, FBR, MF, and +max fire/cold res
I think Voice of Reason is better, both thematically and viability-wise. It's more cold-focused and you hit faster with PB, so you'll see more orbs decorating the screen. Better cold damage too. Lastly, shattering monsters with Ice Blast is very satisfying.

@@DoubleBilly voice of reason in pb is good as well. Is definitely better for life leach on demons and higher cold dps but is also much less dmg on frozen orb (feels like almost a double). Ar is kind of problem if your level is not high enough, but couple of +30 ar sc helps a lot actually. I am playing hc, single player d2 plugy btw, 5 years of cold juwel in a shield 😁
I've done this with Destruction instead of rift, and coupled it with dragon armor, and phoenix shield and it's so much fun. Using it in cows absolutely covers the screen.
hello, what do you think of Project diablo 2? I played the first 4,5 seasons, but honestly, it seems like it started to exaggerate more and more, it became OP in that mod,as if it were MARVEL vs. DC, that's how strong most builds are in pd2
I made a build that combines a frostdin with vengeance instead of zeal because the synergies for holy frost line up with the synergies with vengence and you have the extra skill points to make them work together quite well. The pure damage isn't the greatest, but if you build up the gear, it has everything it needs to kill effectively and stay alive!
Yeah Windhammer,Rift and Stormlash all work on Windwolf.I think Rift in Tresher or Greater Thresher is pretty nice its sorta good on P3. But sadly Windwolf doesnt perform that well on higher settings but its great for p1 content if you're playing ladder.
If you ever wanna see a build that won't that is somehow viable with max rolled gear , cheat and edit your single player gear and crush the game with trash builds. Have fun having fun. That meph ttk is trash lol.

I agree. I don't see how rift won the naming game IE rift-(insert class here) build. I always run VoR on rift-sin

I have similar one, but play it with Holly freeze and synergies maxed out and infinity on merc. Not bad at all
Pairing frozen orbs with holy freeze is pretty cool as a theme tbh. Good stuff

I made a rift pally a while back, but somehow, voice of reason pb feels like it hits better and procs more often
You're right, VoR peoxs a little better some times but the frozen orbs aren't as powerful as Rift

Vengeance is alright but not particularly fun or fancy to play, it is basic single target animation that's why I don't tend to work with it much

That's a tough challenge due to the fact it is very difficult to add stats to the iron golem. But I have a few ideas, I'll get cooking 🍳
