Speaking about off meta builds I am having a lot of fun playing a Sanctuary Paladin ^^ He really wrecks undeads like Pindleskin and he is great in places like tombs or Sanctuary of Chaos ^^ I like to maximize damage vs Undead also and I would like to try Voice of Reason too!

I'm pissed....just found this awesome build....and I literally charsi'd a f'n +3 fanata 4 socket PERFECT base thinking i wouldn't use it for anything... Now i see this and I regret it so muchhhhh smh.....

This looks fun Kinda reminds me Grim Dawn where you can mix two classes of your liking and play necro-hunter as well

hey, Billy, I recently got an interesting thought for a challenge build and did a bit of theorycrafting, but don't have the time to get it much further, so I thought maybe you can develop the idea if interested. The idea is to have all six damage types with a single main attack skill. Not all have to be equally potent, but there shouldn't be a focus on a single element with token others. Think of it like being able to kill every different combination of triple immune mob with similar kill speed and no sunders, of course. Also it would be more challenging to exclude just casting different skills for different elements, hence single main damaging skill. Auras and procs though are not only welcome, but necessary, I suppose. I started with magic arrow bowa with facet gear or triple pally aura gear (ice/phoenix/dream). Then thought of a pally with conviction main and maybe aura gear or facet gear with vengeance maybe, or brand bow for the magic damage. Then maybe a dual wielding barb with proccing build with maybe rift/plague/last wish/voice of reason/etc. The infinity merc should be a given I guess, except for the pally variant, who can use lower res act V barb or something. Not for breaking immunities, but as a way to amplify multiple damage types simultaneously, which would be a nightmare otherwise. Also I suppose the entire inventory should be filled with the 4 elemental damage types of small charms. Treachery would be interesting to bring the touch of poison damage for the challenge. Overall, the magic damage part would be tricky, since only magic arrow gives both magic and physical, so any other skill would have to use FoH or holy bolt proc or bone spear proc. Or berserk barb with twister/tornado procs for the lulz I suppose. Dunno if this peaks your interest as a challenge, I will be interested to see what you will be able to cook with this idea. Anyways, keep offing those metas, yours is one of my favorite D2 channels.

Damnit I was like oh wow a necro without CE then 1:43 hits :( :( so sad that d2r necro is just a kill anything to get CE going

I bear mine, got a metamorph soly for the mark, and various ias gear to reach max frames w a demon machine in that form. 2p ik, nostro, HL, Hustle on act 3 merc to get BoS myself aswell to get the final bit, while Bone is armor

Also just found my season 9 build. Damn I always end up starting necro.

Throw a bramble on the merc for that thorns on the minions. It's worth it.

I for some reason remember thinking fire/ele damage LC being the best. I would have dune fire golem and thorns. Bone bear is interesting. But I don't think you can revive wen in ss form greatly reducing you're AOE to nothing.. so no revive, tely stomp, thorns field, Corps Explode or exploding arrow :(

Never thought of leaning into corpse explosion and fire damage. I went mainly physically with mine fort and the helm with 33% pierce and razor tail. Might readjust to a similar build you are playing

Nice build, but full Griswold's set with rainbow facets will be much more tanky with the same damage.

You would have some cool off meta builds with the new items in D2Reimagined. Give it a go Billy.....

Beast Caddy with +3 HShock/FoH, HoZ with a facet, Arach, MageF/Trang, Griff, +2 Pally/10%FCR Ammy, Enigma. Seems like a far better/easier variant. HS and FoH dmg might be a bit lower, but you can more easily swing for big damage in less dense areas where HBolt doesn’t shotgun as well

Change the armor for enigma. Changes weapons for 5facet +3 holy shock scepter. And paly shield 4facet. Aura stays the same lvl but you can tp and center your Merc. (Ps there's a video from I think the Chanel macroboi. Auras aoe dmg do stack. You can dual dream and main holy shock with infinity Merc it can 1 shot 10 k health mobs if they have 0 base light res.)

Basically this isn't a build you'd use. For a foh paladin the traditional dream build with hoto is better then this
