How I Motovlog / Helmet Setup Insta360 GO2 & GoPro Session, Zoom F2-BT, Honda Dominator 650

  • Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! I’m preparing my trip to Iceland and therefore I’m working on a whole new motovlogging setup using the insta 360 go 2, a GoPro hero session 5 and I’m recording the audio with a Zoom F2-bt field recorder and a Sony ecm-cs3 Lavalier Microphone. I’m still working on the perfect camera settings for the best possible image quality. I made some mistakes like shooting in pro mode with the Insta360 which I think doesn’t deliver the best image quality and also finding a way to optimise my color grading. Also to improve the sound quality even more I will put a volume adapter in between microphone and field recorder to reduce the input level just a bit to make sure it’ll never be to high even on higher speeds. I’m sure I will get better with the new setup in the future but so far I can call it a successful first try and I think this setup is going to make it on my next big journey in May.
    Thanks everybody for tuning in and if you like the video give me a thumbs up;) If you have any questions just drop them in the comments I’ll get back to you!
    See you in my next video!
    Cheers Marc

      Yeah actually works and charges up pretty fast in the charging case and so easy to put in an out. Quickly done at every break. It’s the most practical and easy MotoVlog setup I think.

      Also the memory is actually enough. I maxed it out just twice in Iceland. Sure, you have to backup every night and it takes a bit longer than sd cards but still, the size of those things is worth the extra effort 🤙🏼

    I love the Go2 too. Are you able to manage with the battery life limitations on it, especially on your day-long rides? I suppose you would have to charge them whenever you stop. Also, how do you sync the multiple video clips with your audio? Love your videos! Been watching your latest ones and also catching up with the old ones since the beginning of the ride with Eve.

    Hey Marc..stellar Vlog. I have had vibration problems mounting my iphone on my dirt bike handlebars. The camera gets trashed and won’t focus. I’ve had to get the camera fixed. This has happened twice to me and seems to be a problem with iPhones. I also use the Insta 360 Go2 and find that I need to mount the iPhone and use the 360 app to see if I’m recording. Have you had to deal with this problem?

    • @streetsquiid5615
      @streetsquiid5615 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Marc Travels I just thought about this for added security and peace of mind, This camera can actually be tethered! There is still a gap (thread groves) where the replaceable lens locks in and a nylon thread can be tied around it and the other end of that thread can be tied to the helmet like easy removable lanyard loop, it wouldn’t bother the camera getting inside the case too!

    • @MarcTravels
      @MarcTravels  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@streetsquiid5615 yeah that should give you some extra security. But the magnet of the cam is quite strong so I really can’t imaging it coming out of the Mount either way. But surely your solution will give you some peace of mind😊 let me know if it works 🤙🏼

      Do you have fuckups? For example, will you turn on the sound and forget about the video, or vice versa? Or are you going too far and you don't know where you left your camera? 😂

      @@motosekcjakanal yeah I basically put everything on top of eachother, try to match audios and cut them all together at the same time with multi select. You’ll get faster each video 🙌🏼
