    Loving your videos. I bought the insta go 2 over a year ago and loved it so much I bought a 2nd one. I got a bunch of different mounts/accessories but found I really only used 1. The magnetic pendant on my chest while riding the motorcycle is so convenient and pull it off to film something even while riding is so easy at the time i thought it was one of the most useful camera's ever made. Sadly (Im not techy) both seemed to crap out at the same time. Multiple bugs/issues with not charging, battery dying fast and the camera's shutting off for who knows what reason. Its a shame. I have the 32gb versions so maybe yours doesn't have similar issues. I live in the philippines tropical hot weather and I can tell you for sure both of these things over heat a lot if you A: If I Don't ride at some speed on the motorcycle or B: If I Film in the highest quality video. 1080P is what i always set it too because if i didn't id end up with it overheating over and over. The haptic feedback when the camera shuts off is great feature though. I finally got so pissed off just tossed them in a drawer 4 months ago. Maybe i'll pull them out to try bring them back from the dead. Truly a million things you can do with these tiny camera's. Maybe as useful as 360 camera's in there own way. BTW I bought the silly dog mount also but never got around to testing it on my dogo.

      @WheelieGoodTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mark, sorry to hear about the problems you had with both cameras. I have the 64gb version and never had any of those problems but then I suspect it’s a lot cooler here in Ireland compared to the Philippines.
      Whilst it’s superb in so many ways mainly because of its size, I’ve realised that the quality isn’t up to it for the main camera doing what I do. Still, it has its own uses. Cheers for getting in touch. Dave. 👍🏍🎥

    Looks an excellent little camera, I'm certainly considering one. As you know I'm a massive insta fan and the wife and I have used two Insta 360onex2 cameras to record our joint motorcycle tour and explore on the island of Madeira.
    I'm knocked out by the quality of the footage we've bought back. Both cameras worked faultlessly all week. I'm just not going back to Gopro. Our joint audio with the Rode wireless Go2 also worked great, looking forward to sharing the first edited footage next Saturday. I'm only just an amateur film maker vlogger so would definitely value any feedback if you do get chance to give it a look.
    Best wishes Richard

    I have my Insta360 One RS as my secondary cam mounted on my bike, and my Insta360 Go 2 as my main cam on my helmet. I don't talk, more like doing montages of places I've been so battery life isn't really my issue on it. I strictly keep my recording at 30s only per scene (and also you can turn down the idle duration to 180seconds to save battery)

    Morning Dave, can it be set up to charge from the bike ? I wouldn't mind recording some of my trips just to look back over myself but as you said the battery life is limited. This seems like a small and easily usable camera.

      Hi Dylan, yes there is a USB mount for the camera now so you can keep it plugged in permanently from the power supply on your bike or what I do now which is just using a power bank in my jacket pocket.

    I am using insta 360 One R for Motovlogging and have found it extremely useful, although this cam too has its positives.
    The only drawback with insta 360 one r, is changing the batteries and small buttons at the side especially with gloves on.
    Secondly, its weight which doesn't help the invisible stick remain in its place for long
    All in all, insta has taken the action cam scene altogether on to a different level

    Hi Dave, again highly appreciated what you are sharing! Today I enjoyed my RS 660 on 90 km road-trip around Nuremberg where I am living. I gave my yellow Italian dream bike a name - from now on SHE is known as LUCIA 😎😍
    Currently I am focusing on improving my riding skills but having one week off soon I like to setup my equipment in similar manner you did. I have a question as you are as well using the Rode Wireless Go System. How have you mounted the Rode boxes #1 to the Insta360 and #2 safely to your helmet shown in the video. I would get nervous 😩 loosing them on a ride. Can you please share some hints.
    Thanks my friend + save riding!

      @WheelieGoodTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mike, great name for the bike! I do still use the Rode system but only on my adventure helmet with the GS and the CRF bikes. I use the bracket you can purchase from Insta to mount the receiver to the Insta One X2 and never had a problem, it’s rock solid. I bought a Smallrig cold shoe mount from Amazon which I screwed and glued to the side of my helmet for the TX to clip on to and again never had a problem. It’s a great system. Saying that, whilst this system works for me, it might not suit everyone. Best to experiment and improvise your own setup really. Good luck.👍🏍🎥

    This camera seems not usable if you want to record more than 30min video during the day and it's not the case of battery life but memory (3omin only in pro mode) and video download speeds. I see reports from user that 5-10min clip takes over 1 hour to download to your mobile wirelessly.. No way anyone will use this camera to record a motorcycle trip unless they are fine with approx. 2h footage per day and taking laptop with you to download footage in the evening which would be ridiculous to carry a laptop on a motorcycle trip :)

    • @WheelieGoodTV
      @WheelieGoodTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that’s correct. It’s not a camera to capture your entire journey but more to capture the highlights. Transferring wirelessly on any camera in fairness is a waste of time so I always use cable for instant transfer. The 64gb version is the only model to buy so you can maximise recording time. Yes it does have pros and cons but that’s the same with any camera. It doesn’t sound like this is for you?🤔🎥
