    P.S. FYI, This doesn't mean I am switching back my direction to UK! XD
    I decided to interview my friends who made it to UK since I noticed that there are a lot of interviews already on US residency and Match but not so much on UK. (And also to help those who will be taking this route in the future)

    For the process of being a doctor in the UK as a Filipino, is there an agency that handles the application? Or you really have to do the entire application on your own? I researched online and it doesn’t seem to say anything about this. I am about to start applying. However, I don’t know how to start exactly. Do I get in touch with an agency to handle my papers and applications?

      the only available agencies are those that provide locum cover. if you want a more stable job, you apply through the NHS

    Thank you for your super helpful videos! I also watched Dr. Kim's interview. I was wondering if doing foundation year was required of them prior to GMC registration?

      No it's not required! :)

    Watching your channel to keep updated with the upcoming changes with usmle. I have a question, I read on the official usmle website that they will implement pass/fail on or after January 23,2022. Do you think they will shift the date further? Btw just subscribed :)

      Hi! Thank you for following my channel. I appreciate it. As for the transition into Pass/Fail, I don't think they will be postponing it since they've been planning for it for the longest time already. The focus will now shift to STEP 2 CK score instead of on the STEP 1 score, which is what's intended.

    thanks for the infomative vid! I just want to ask if a IMG applies to UK, do they first finish their residency here in the PH, or do it in the UK? thank u!

    • @SarangChoiMD
      @SarangChoiMD  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don’t have to do residency in the Ph. You can apply for non-training jobs and go from there. Training system in UK is very different from US or Ph, so make sure to look into it before going for it!

      @@FrancesSamanthaLedesmaHi Doc, thank you so much for sharing your experiences and insights. You've mentioned that after your GMC Full registration, you applied for jobs already. Do we have to do Foundation years or our Clerkship/Internship will suffice or cover these couple of years?
