Don't you think it would count as Tri-Cities of Sevierville / Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg? They are all kind of tied together. But that might confuse people with the historical Tri-Cities of Bristol / Kingsport / Johnson City.

Good to see what is up there cause things are ever changing - I like the touristy trap gift shops or tacky tourist shops as a friend and I call them - when I go on a trip I don't want to spend half my budget on wedge wood china plates or expensive jewelry - so much of the things especially in downtown Gatlinburg have become those - the face in the mural reminded me - we use to take our church youth group up there for a week retreat usually during Spring Break - We often stayed at the Brookside that was up the hill going toward the craft village - they had those old fashioned wall paper murals of outdooor scenes on one wall in the room - mostly streams or green wooded areas and some with deer - but there was this one that when the strips were pasted together it seemed to form a demonic face with the items in the scene - now some of the others had some possible faces that your imagination let you see but this one was very clear looking especially to the group of girls staying there - creeped them out - so they made the Youth Minister come in and pray a blessing on that room and for their protection from any evil spirits lurking with that face - it became a thing that each room tried to find any scary faces or lack of so they knew their room was safe or not - lol - thanks for the drive around and for reminding me of that story

Hey Jacob, have you ever been to Frankenmuth MI? If you like tourist traps you'll love that place. It even has the world's largest Christmas store (their claim not mine).

There is also the Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad further up from Frankenmuth in Flint MI. I could name off a few more attractions for the next time your in the area if you want, I don't want to bore every one with a long rant.

Hey Jacob, No idea if this camp still lives or not, but when I was a little tyke... My parents sent me and my sister there for week. Camp Ha-La-Wa-Sa. I believe its an Indian name for get rid of your kids for some parent fun time :), Seriously it was a good week as I remember it, sort of a relegious camp in South Jersey Had a few lakes and cabins that the kids stayed in while we were there.

The candy golf game place and its music kinda reminded me of Dan Bells dead mall series where there empty and semi abandoned. At one time these places would be packed before the era of the high technical age of the millennium

The chimera reference was great! If you come to the Pacific NW again, I can put you up in Astoria, Oregon. I know a lot of great filming locations and live just a couple of blocks from the Goonies house/The Goondocks, the Kindergarten Cop school, Short Circuit, Free Willy, Benji The Hunted, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles filming locations, etc. Keep up the good work, and best of luck on with your channel!
Thank you for the Gatlinburg footage you do. It is a very special place for my husband and I. We are from Western Kentucky or LBL (Land Between The Lakes). Beautiful area in Kentucky. We havent been back to Gatlinburg since 2017 and a lot of attractions were burned.

When my mom was alive every time she and dad would go to Pigeon Forge she would always go to the Cathouse and buy more cat tshirts. When she died and we were going through her things she had a pile of shirts from there.
