    Jacib, when you and Adam talk to the locals of the areas you travel to, it adds flavor to the trip.👌The bunny rabbit guy being a prime example.

      Straight up was about to say that the bunny man was so sincere and sweet with his little rabbit family. That dare I say, that out of all the cool places Jacob has visited so far the bunny ranch has been my favorite so far. Just because of how gentle and real the bunny man was. I am rooting for him and his bunnies. Omfg. My heart!

    One added comment... Man, the Lincoln Museum has some really artful displays. They're beautiful. The slave auction and law office ones are absolutely gorgeous and impactful. I know there are a few photos of Lincoln with his kids/reading to them, and they're wonderful to see. Reminds you he was a man with a sense of humor and every day worries. That's pretty awesome. Thanks for this, Jacob

    • @LadyDragonsblood
      @LadyDragonsblood 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      RhettyforFun Yeah the penny press there is a bit out of place, as Lincoln is already on the penny... LOL. But, I love penny presses, and I was always glad to see one if I went some where... they make a great, inexpensive souvenir. They have penny presses at Disney... they change the images a lot... some of the older pressed pennies are worth a lot of money. They are a really cool collectible. What I also like about them is, they don't take up much room. I kept mine in a binder with plastic pages for trading cards. Each penny went in a slot and I would put a business card with the place I got the penny with it, along with the date. A great record of travels and places vistited.

    • @RhettyforHistory
      @RhettyforHistory 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      LadyDragonsblood Youre right. They do make great souvenirs! My kids have loved them and have had a ton of them made. I like them because they are cheap. I didn't realized they changed them out at places though.

    • @LadyDragonsblood
      @LadyDragonsblood 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      RhettyforFun Yeah... they change them up for special occasions... like I got one at the Saint Louis Zoo, that celebrated the birth of a new baby elephant... and the anniversary of their Big Cat Country. Disney will also change often... switching out characters or doing one for special occasions like Disney 60... was only available for a short time.

    Really awesome vlog and that museum is incredible! The Lincoln home in Springfield is amazing too as I've visited there. Some of the furniture is original. It's so tragic that three out of four of the Lincolns' children didn't reach adulthood. Their son Edward died before they left Springfield for Washington. The little guy was only 3. The official cause was listed as consumption (tuberculosis). Did you know that President Lincoln's oldest son Robert Todd witnessed the shooting of President Garfield in 1881, who subsequently died a couple months later from infection related to the shooting? Even more ironic, Robert Todd's life was once saved by Edwin Booth...the brother of John Wilkes Booth! Edwin saved him from getting killed by a train when Robert lost his footing on a train platform. It helped bring comfort to Edwin after his brother's evil act. On a lighter note, lovin' the bunnies! :)
