I know Emily isn’t really that much of a “mythical kickeneer” but she really should’ve been on this episode based on stories she’s told.

It's so hilariously perfect. It's the most comically disturbing thing you could say about there being a bunch of visible blood on you, but it also makes complete sense to say defensively and instinctually when you're flustered in that situation.
Didn't realize how good of a story teller Lily was.

Josh -- "Have you guys ever pooped on a date?"
The look of horror on the girls faces they thought he meant pooped ON A DATE.
Lily looked like she had to think about how to respond though… and then immediately said no when Josh clarified. Then she brought up the bodily fluid thing again, “maybe I do.” 😂
instructions were not quite clear on that one.
I love how Lily just constantly surprises me by being so awesome. She was so quiet in the beginning and now she's one ofmy fav people to interact with Josh, wickedly funny, amazing at telling story and lowkey the dirtiest mind in the kitchen lmao. She's so effortlessly badass.

Lily is great in this episode. Also, her look of horror as Josh describes adapting.
On Nicole’s story, I think he sent a car for her because he lost his license. It smacks of DUI.
Don’t hesitate to let these episodes run a little ,they’re great morning material
Lily’s story was golden and very well told, props gf. The advice to prep your chops/ingredients was also good, I have success with that strategy and also have ADHD.
Also have ADHD and prepping everything first like Lily said works well for me too. Also try to sort of clean as I go, like at least try to somewhat neatly stack dishes in the sink just so it doesn’t feel like so much chaos.

Edit: 100% agree with Josh on the ADHD/ADD cooking thing. Also, use the ADHD management techniques you use in other situations, tick the steps off on a piece of paper, and set a timer to go off every 5-10 min to check in on what you're doing (i.e. getting distracted and letting something burn, or skipping steps). This is how I survive my combo of ADD and a passion for cooking lol
The woman that thought Lily had her own blood on her probably is still convinced that Lily killed someone
josh's date really is the female version of the type of guy that would approach someone at the gym
Lily's story didn't go the way I expected it would. And it proceeded to get worse (No, I'm fine, it's not ---- !) 10/10.
It’s the worst response to “are you okay” when covered in blood is “it’s not my blood”

Josh's date was some kind of messed up narcissist. He's telling her he thinks she's messed up and she just seemed to think he was joking
This finally made me see Lilly as a person, not only a talented chef that came from a Michelin star restaurant. Now I want to hear more of her funny stories, and see more of her personality in the shows!

On a terrible first date, like fifteen minutes in. I got my sister to call me and pretend my dog had been taken to the vets so i had to go home right away.
I gotta give it to Josh at the end there. Lily gave amazing advice but there are times where I'm cooking and I forget entirely that I needed an onion or garlic in this meal until it's a little too late.
You should have gotten Emily as well.
Emily could fill this entire episode with her date horror stories of this year alone xD

Oh my god the blood story is an absolute nightmare! I can't even imagine what I would do if I got a strangers nose blood in my mouth on a second date! I would probably just implode.
Honestly you folks should double the length of these episodes, these are fantastic!
imagine having a hot date scheduled the same day get diarrhea so you order some pretentious sounding health drink to settle your stomach and you take so long in the bathroom that he thinks you just got up and left

Actually I think all those strategies for ADHD cooking are pretty rad. 1) have a system to help you stay focused 2) learn how to wing it if/when that system fails 3) don't stress, just work with what you got

This was amazing!
I used to be prone to spontaneous nosebleeds, and horrified an ex when they made me a spicy dish and I started bleeding halfway through eating it. Thankfully we were just at their place and not in public (and I didn't bleed on them - at least that time), but there were many other times I had to wash blood off my face in a public bathroom.
(Having a doctor cauterize the surface veins in my nostrils was an unpleasant experience, but solved the issue after dealing with it for many years)
Love that josh did the money bit from Vegas Vacation, sad the other 2 didn't get it. lol!
I have to wonder what exactly that waitress "took care of" with Nicole's date - especially as he never contacted her again.
Also, 14:25 - Josh with a National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation reference, the old guy who finally won at Keno.
Great episode, but Josh whipping out the Vegas Vacation reference at 14:26 and nobody having a clue what was going on had me dying.
