Nice setup. Do you use the same mold for all of the ribs? I'm going to check out your other videos as my questions might have already been answered. Thanks
I've been recently getting an urge to try and make my own lute or oud and trying to figure out a cheaper way to make a bending iron. Never thought to just use a heat gun! Can I ask where you got the pattern for your mould shape?
there is a guy named Yaron Naor who selling some famous oud template with good detailed, but what I did was draw it myself first based on another oud... but for second one I start drawing it. let me know if you want to know more, I can help I think
I’m also interested in oud plan and design, do you have some template or any kind of useful material to build oud and mould? I’ll very glad if you would share with us :)
@@tommasoberte9074 very nice. Actually I don't have any complete template to print all parts but I have done some 3d designs and lots of info's to understand how to design it yourself on a sheet of paper, its easy. Also tell me what you wanna know about the mould. I would be happy to help 🙏🌹
Right now I can finish 4 ribs a day (with Tidebond glue which it needs at least one hour to be dry and can put pressure on the bowl for fixing the other rib) So if I use a special technique like Turkish guys who use heat to fix the hide glue or use any faster glue, it is possible to finish a bowl in a day or two 🙏
Wonderful ! I am trying to make oud as a hobby like you, and waiting to watch your new videos about the whole production process.
Good job Mansouur . very well done .
Thanks a lot 🙏❤️

@@mansouroud Thanks for the quick reply.
Hi, what is the bright paper on your template? Is it a "foil paper" that we use in our kitchens? An how many layers?
Yes, this is exactly Kitchens Foil paper, I Used 1 layer, thickest possible one I could find.
Thank you very much. @@mansouroud

@@mansouroud thanks for the reply. Will probably be a while before I get my garage cleared out enough to begin.

@@mansouroud Uuh intresting! I'm intrested in infos for drawing and design oud by myself
How long does it take you to fit , say 3 ribs ?
