- How to make an incredible work of art easily with some bamboo, epoxy resin and of course a wood lathe.

Don't know about anyone else, but I was glad that you didn't show the piece stopped at any point, until you started applying the finish ... it kept the suspense of what it was going to look like right up until the last moment ... that was nearly as good as the finished article, which was of course stunning ... but we all know that's what the piece will be every time we watch one of your videos 👍

Bamboo can be such a versatile wood, I love what you produced here. The face turning was rather hypnotic, I nearly began to strut around the room, clucking like a chicken. My favorite pattern with my favorite background color! I always love this theme. ❤
I would really like to see this pattern type in light green and warm medium brown. I think it would be just as stunning and very organic.

Do you have a sense of what the finished piece is going to look like when you are configuring the pieces of wood and pouring resin? Or is it more of a “let’s see what happens if I do this?” This one is great…love the way it turned out.
I make sure that it corresponds to a plan that I have set myself, but sometimes there are surprises 😉

Beautiful. I have question on the bamboo, how long do you let it dry before you turn it, or what percentage of moisture you you suggest.

My bamboo have been cut for several years and they are dry (7%) humidity.

Dis moi après avoir coulé la résine tu passes la pièce systématiquement dans une étuve dépressurisée et au chalumeau pour les bulles ou pas ?
Pour le bambou oui systématiquement dans un pot sous pression positive sans chalumeau.😉

Le bambou fait un son si intéressant en tournant ! Comment vous sentez-vous dans vos mains de le travailler ? Plus léger ? Une sensation plus creuse ? Je suis curieux 👍
Le bambou demande une préparation particulière pour le travailler avec de la résine .
Pendant le tournage cela demande aussi une attention particulière car le bambou est plus tendre que la résine. Au final si le projet est réussi ,le résultat est super 😉
