    1. No contests. Please report spam bots congratulating you.
    2. Wish is garbage but also some of these props are legit.

i know you live in this world, and that's where you make your money, but you're the biggest magician on youtube... you don't need to do the masked magician thing. not everyone has seen the classics. your content is perfectly polished and super entertaining as always. wish spoils enough magic without your help.

Wish is low key underrated. I got Jordan’s on wish(2 for $80 total) and after 3 months assuming they took my money and ran, I got them. I took em to a buddy of mine that restores Jordan’s as a side gig and he never assumed they were fake, given that they came with all the proper certificates/stickers/boxes/etc.
however, I don’t think I’ll treat the experience as much more than getting lucky with what I still think are super high quality fakes…

I feel like this stuff might be useful for aspiring magicians. buy lower quality versions of stuff like the floating table or the zombie ball to practice your technique and then transfer over to the better, more expensive stuff when you have it down. We used to have a magic shop in my town way back when i was a little kid and i used to love going in there just looking at everything, but stuff was always so expensive it was out of reach. Having these pretty well made but ultimately cheap versions of these illusions might help inspire people to pick up the hobby or even become a performer in the future.

    "How are they making money?"
Pro tip, if something seems too cheap for what it is, someone's human rights are being violated. Wish, Shein, Alibaba, etc. Awful companies with exploitative practices operating from countries where such injustices aren't adequately prosecuted.

I guess it's a bit like Amazon. We can't resist buying plastic Chinese crap because the prices are so low but then we complain that truck drivers get low wages, the mall is closing down, and no one in the west can earn a living manufacturing anything of quality. I wouldn't be that surprised if some of these knock-offs are produced by Yhugur Muslims or political prisoners in jail, because it's basically impossible to produce items like these for 2 dollars if people are being paid a fair wage. Slave labour must be involved.

I know a very small handful of tricks and am as smooth as sandpaper, but I love the art. Cheap tricks like this could be an awesome intro to people just starting out as practice tools, and also as intros into how bigger and better tricks and illusions might work. I won’t touch Wish with a 10 foot pole, but these are pretty awesome.

Omg!!! This brought back so many memories of my brother. He actually had the good quality of that ball over the scarf cloth trick, which was super neat to see him perform. I will never forget him and his friend saved enough of their money and bought enough wood to create a life size box and had one of their friends disappear from it at the school talent show. All the girls, including my girl friends were so in love with him after that. Social media was barely becoming a thing, so there weren’t any tutorials or things to rip off from others. Him and his friend just put their time and passion into magic and created really cool illusions. Good stuff here🤍

I too am addicted to Wish. They make the money on the shipping, pretty sure. I have the key-in-bottle (comes with a gimmicked and a real key), the coin through glass tray (love that one - very strong, but you are supposed to put the quarter under a larger coin in the tray). Must get that nut and bolt. I have one of those appearing canes, but much bigger. Look for Staff of Monkey King. Extraordinarily dangerous when closing it up (razor-sharp edges).

Got alot of people with that one.

It's funny, because the table, the most expensive one, and touted as a thousand dollars in other places, was an instant, "okay this is the cheesiest most obvious thing ever" - the instant I saw it during the opening preview - one of them all.
BUT THE CHEAPEST $1 reel is the one that I, for the life of me, could not figure out. Until it became clear that you FREAKING TURNED DOWN THE VOLUME you cheater! Hahahah. Great compilation. God, I love magic, and I love your channel.

I love your videos. I want to be able to play all the puzzles you typically do. I think you should do a series on affordable awesome puzzle boxes that your typical viewers can actually attain. I dont understand the prices of so many of them. I get the craftsmanship and thought that goes into them...but still. Even if I was a multimillionaire, I wouldn't drop 30k on a puzzle. I get why you do though so dont take that as a knock. I just wish someone would mass produce awesome puzzle boxes to sell at a high quantity which in my opinion would net them the same or more money as selling a few for a ridiculous price.

black wire on a reel is a bad choice. I know it's counter intuitive but black really stands out. You can get some really thin but very strong fishing line these days. There's some you can get that are specifically designed for catching large fish on the surface so it has a very good refractive index. Most of the new lines have a refractive index that's close to waters refractive index so the fish can't see it as it's almost invisible in water. The floating line has a refractive index somewhere between water and air so it's really hard to see on the surface. But has the added benefit for magicians as it's the closest you'll get to 'invisible' while remaining really strong. Fascinating stuff.
Who would have thought that new breakthrough tech in the fishing world would also be good for magicians.

I was just looking for a good reel! I wanted one for like a handkerchief through mic stand type effect. I wonder if that reel is fast enough for that . I’ve never had one , so I guess I should start with a 1 dollar wish reel

I wish you could have provided the source for the better version of each cheap trick so I or we could potentially purchase from your recommended supplier. I like the vibrating bolt the most and wonder what the supreme version can be bought and I’m thinking it would be much more quiet :)
