Two cameras types that seem to be missing EVERYWHERE are door peephole cameras and small form factor corner mount cameras that could be mounted at the top of door frames corners.
It great until you have support not help you with any issues but instead escalate it to a higher level. It's been 5 weeks since my case about my unifi protect not running properly nothing has been done. I've sent 4 different support files.
This is just an advertisement for the cameras. This doesn't help choose which one is the best fit. The link should go to a useful webpage that has specs and comparisons between the various models clearly listed. Or there should be a questionnaire about how the camera is going to be used to help narrow down choices AND THEN a page that shows a clear comparison between the cameras. Taking me to a video when I'm just wanting to view side by side specs is a waste of time.

Loving my newest additions, the G3 Instant and the G4 Doorbell. The one thing that annoys me is that I cannot set another notification sound for "Doorbell Rings" as I could with my previous Ring doorbell. I miss out on doorbell rings all the time, as they sound like any other motion alerts.

You really need an option to make it easy to check a certain camera with no password. Having a complicated password for the WHOLE network, and then the APP forgetting the password, kinda makes it useless. Will give the APP another shot in the future. We moved and will need easy access to check our home cameras. But, my mom won't want or know how to keep entering a long complicated secure password "just to check a camera". I should be able to move a camera into a "public" area that doesn't require much security to see the image. Maybe have a strong password for some groups of cameras, and a simple password for cameras I don't care about - like showing our front door. Or make the APP not need a password to be entered every so often. Makes it useless. BUT, that was many versions ago, over 1.5 years ago... Will give it a shot in our new home. Happy you now have a doorbell version. :)
It is absurd that I had to watch this to see that the system can detecct people or vehicles with any of the cameras. Since it isn't listed as a feature with any of the camers, NVR, or other details on the website.

Apartments will need battary ones .....manager turns off the power from out side to come in my apartment ....when the system would try to send an alert the camera would go off instead ....when i get home the camera light would be blinking that means someone turn the lights off from the out side ....so get the battery one for aptmts.....we live in a dangerious world be carefull out their mo matter who you are !!!

I actually think the PTZ is one of their more reasonably priced cameras for what it is. At least it will be once they add the software features that are absolutely required for this type of camera, namely patrol mode and smart object tracking. Similar hardware from other manufacturers (including the two big ones known for high quality and reasonable prices) can cost the same or more.
Yes purchasing the dream machine then finding out 6 months later I only need to spend $60 more on the pro and I could have gotten one that supports cameras is a bummer.

nope, these cameras are in a closed loop ecosystem of ubiquiti, no strangers alowed inside, nobody gets out, kinda like Apple does. anyway, that is the mindest, we take our customers money and then we crap on them, no user manuals and especially no products because nobody know why. but they look nice, the products i mean hahaha
Please consider adding an outdoor tamper resistant dome camera with a wider field of view. In Florida, all your cameras are kinda useless outdoor with all the sun, wind and rain. Something like the Axis M3037-PVE would be nice.
Remember the 1st locksmith changed the tumblers to make the lock easy to pick. The question is this. Does that brand have high low tumblers making it impossible to pick and the reason he suggested drilling it, or was he there just to rip her off?
Also, it would be AWESOME to be able to record say for 2 hours in a single video file if desired. Not hundreds of tiny files. Make it an option... "Record from 2pm to 4pm and then check the box that says "single file". But, maybe I will have to look at exporting options... maybe now, the camera software allows you to export 2pm to 4pm in a large spliced together file. We shall see...

Nice products but all of them are not 4K video cameras and wished they have bigger viewing angles like 180-degree with color night vision.

Most of these models need to drop in price to ≈1/3 MSRP, especially the PTZ. I can't imagine what UI will MSRP the AI camera at.

There is no ptz camera for indoor use, and G4 ptz is not suitable for indoor use.

Agreed. I've almost lost it trying to get the files off the camera. You have to click each tiny clip individually and download them... craziness.
