Unfortunately the "best" comparison we get in the US for this type of singing is Evanescence, which I like, but Amy can't touch Simone, Floor, Anneke, Charlotte, or Marcela, I have to say.
Especially live, since with the dutch singers in metal bands what you hear on offical recordings is what you gonna hear live!
That's a comparison noone needed ;) - both sounds great - why should I talk about who is better?

Epica is my favorite band, Simone is an amazing singer studio and live.
I can strongly recommend these Epica songs:
Unchain Utopia (Omega Alive or the official live video, both are great)
Once Upon a Nightmare (Omega Alive)
In All Conscience (Omega Alive), Simone has beautiful high notes in this one. 🥰

Rivers (live at AFAS Live, feat Apocalyptica)
Tides of Time
Too few people react to "Once upon a nightmare" from Omega Alive. It is a beautiful ballad. I really hope Maggie finds the time to react to it some day. Vocals are clear and it uses different techniques. Maybe she also finds similarities in the composition with classical pieces.
It's the same theme as the Erlkonig. I mean the topic of the song

For a mix of clean and growl vocals from the same person, I'd recommend listening to Ad Infinitum. Such an underestimated band. Female main vocalist. Eternal Rains is a good starting song

Hi Maggie! Great reaction as always and informative. Just a little heads up with the growl comparison. Tatiana does actually have a lower growl and it gets displayed on other songs. She has stated that she prides herself on "NOT sounding like a girl." If you would like a great example, Vortex and Home Back are two great examples of her deeper growls.
With that being said, stay beautiful and keep up the awesome work! ❤ 🤘🏽

Please check out Consign To Oblivion live b at Zenith Paris, then Essence of Silence live at Brussels, then Stabat Mater Delarosa with Floor Jansen at Retrospect Concert live, then Sancta Terra, Design Your Universe, Intro/Monopoly Of Truth and Unleashed from Retrospect Concert in that order... and Cry For The Moon original video to fully understand this group. You're reactions are awesome... but you need to get a full spectrum of Epica and Simone. ❤🤘
She's done Sancta Terra, like two years ago. I can't tell you if she's done any others as she does most of her reactions on Twitch live streams, she doesn't always release them here in timely fashion.
