Every exams on my life university, i remember your lectures to solve the qustions And you know what? I'm studying master degree now from your videos to understand again and again😁, So thank you very much! Finally i hope to upload more vidoes in different topics of science, cuz we are depend on your lecture videos Really thankk u❤
You're the best!!!! Thanks a lot!!!! I remember I had emailed you about a certain question like 4 years ago and you answered, I appreciated it a lot, and ever since i have always came back to your channel when it comes to biology!! I just started med school and your channel will help alot!! :)
Thank so much whenever I am unable to understand by reading books I refer only your video...a huge thanx to you sir ....I am preparing for net exam...Thank you soo much sir
Thank you so much for this video. I was literally suffering to understand this topic, but you've explained in such a wonderful way. May The Almighty bless you.
At 15:48, you wrote that it is positive supercoiling, how can it be +ve, if the Lk is decreased from 9 to 6, according to your discussion it should be -ve supercoiling. I didn't get it.
I recently found your channel and immunology seems to be very difficult for me that's why I asked but now I have found your playlist thanks for telling Sir. Your way of explaining is easily understandable. Thanks again
Thank you so much Sir for your content, even after 6 years it has helped a lot. Honestly I was lazy to learn this topic but after I went through your video I got the stepping stone I needed
Thankyou very much sir, I had doubt on super coiling but seeing your video everything clear. After seeing your video, It help me to present my presentation on this topic infront of my college teacher
I don't understand unfortunately around 12:23 you said DNA has a right-handed (clockwise) helix having a right-handed supercoil (clockwise). That is right-handed helix structured DNA + right turn causes positive writhe right? And you said around 19:33 "positive supercoiling = left-handed turn = clockwise direction". But why left-handed? shouldn't it be right-handed as you said before?
Thank you so much Shomuda. I had quiet a confusion regarding the writhing during under and overwinding. Your additional example of replication solved it.
just yesterday i found your channel, whilst studying for a test in my genetics module at the university. you have an awesome way of explaining stuff, i guess i will come back to this channel many times. keep up the good work!
Sir here your tell us that linking difference = l- l0 but actually it is l0- l is the linking difference i think so... So the. Linking difference us +3 not -3 so it is positive supercoiling 🦹🤔
Thank you sir..it is very hard to understand the notes provided from college that's why I watch your lucture....it's very easy to grasp the idea thank you so much sir
Another question - When a supercoil is formed as a result of double helix unwinding, topoisomerases fix that and remove the supercoil but the unwounded helix does not necessarily return to its initial helical state. Thus we get diffence in linking number. This is how i get an image of DNA supercoiling after watching the video. Is it correct?
As the writhing number (Wr) can be both pos and neg and both increase or decrease the twist number (Tw) as the linking number (Lk) does not change in ccc it's all a matter of the Lk when Wr is 0 which equals Tw and if it's overwound or underwound with respect to Lk naught which is the linking number of fully relaxed DNA under physiological conditions which is usually bp/10.5 and this is what is changed by the Topoisomerases where the Topoisomerase I changes one twist and Topoisomerase II changes two twists (by changing writhes), right? So if delta Lk (Lk minus Lk naught) is negative the DNA structure is negatively supercoiled and has fewer twists when Wr is 0 and if delta Lk is positively supercoiled it has more twists when Wr is 0, right?
Sir I didn't get it full if we talk about counterclockwise writhing, why doesn't the number of twists decrease? Dna here has right handed twisting originally and upon being negatively super coiled why does its twists increase, shouldn't they decrease as it'll open the twisting??
you are explaining things very clear.....but my doubt is clockwise turn of double helix produces negative supercoils ....//// positive ...plz clarify that doubt....and clear many studenyts confusion. (becoz it is useful for many students)

it was a wonderful explanation
Thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
?Right handed supercoiled is negative and left handed is postive in ccDNA why u said the opposite
Its writren in leninger...that right handed helix is positve
Bro ur awesome
Thank you
Thank you so much sir
A big thank you... 😊 For explaining supercoiling in such a relexed n easy way 🙏🙏🙏👌👌Awsome lecture ✌️✌️👏👌
Thankyou sir for explaining this topic which is very difficult to understand.
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts to help
What do you think is the importance of the DNA to have a negative and a postive supercoiling?
god bless you shomu
Thank you
Sir it was really helpful... Thankuu
Great video thank you very much 😁
Thanks alot

Okay
My professor - Shows confusing animations
me - I have a better option ( Shomu Sir ) :))))
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
What a great of teaching, thank you so much, Sir!
@Eye need Dinero U mad 😂
your voice is hardly audible but you explained it very well
Thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
Your videos are always amazing..easy to understand. Please upload videos on diseases asked in NET exam
simplifying the complicated ideas as usual
Superb sir
right hand-anti clock wise?hoowwww? i cant understand it.
you are explaining things very clear.....but my doubt is clockwise turn of double helix produces negative supercoils ....//// positive ...plz clarify that doubt....and clear many studenyts confusion. (becoz it is useful for many students)
I think it produces negative supercoil.
