That guy at the beginning of the trail is most definitely part of the reason why this trail was shut down. Last time I went down there he was taking pictures of my jeep when I came back out and followed me down the road.
Oh, I’m sure they seemed nice but I’m sure they’re the reason. Honestly, that was a great place for newbies. Unfortunately, lots of other vehicles we’re going in there that we’re not jeeps and while I have nothing against ATVs class VI, roads are only legal for plated vehicles Spaulding hill was a true loss
Sadly, the Pelham Town officials are debating changing the road designation from class 6 to class a (walking/hiking only). A few idiots ruin it for everyone. Would have loved to hear that conversation with the locals.
Oh man I didn't realize that you were supposed to stay off the blue trail. When I got to the fork I wasn't sure. I saw tire tracks to the right and foot prints to left so stayed to the right and followed the tracks already there. 🤦♂️
@@ParanormalHoodLiveRadio they didn’t have snow blocking the entrance? Well you may be once of the last people to go through everyone keeps saying they are changing its class 6 designation but I actually haven’t seen that legally changed yet so who knows? Also the blue markers aren’t the best indication of anything if they wanted they could have made it much clearer and people wouldn’t have broken any rules
it looked like he gave me the finger but he actually was giving me the shaka thumb and pinky finger surfer Hawaii thing lol. Also I couldn't find anything about the town officials online talking about that. However i heard from someone it was actually the town forestry department looking to change its road status. It will be sad if they close it because its one of the longer roads in southern nh but there are a 1200 roads in NH that are class 6 and 3000 county/logging roads in Maine and Class 4 in Vermont and western MA. So there really are plenty of places to wheel in new england. Thats why channels like mine are sometimes frowned upon because it brings more people to the roads and sadly i think thats whats happening here...thats part of why i didn't want to post this road right away..
