      Damn! Thanks! I really appreciate that! Well i have a 4 day one of da lat and da nang. It wasnt as fun as this video, so i think its not as good, but ill be dropping it soon. I dont really have much more footage, i can use though. I could create another video of my sapa adventure and focus only on sapa, but i went over a lot of Sapa in this video. But if i return to Vietnam, you best believe ill be making more videos there. I reall appreciate the praise on my video though.

    Great video. Very detailed and informative. I’m planning a trip for the family to visit Vietnam and thinking doing the Ho Long Bay cruse. Do you think is suitable for a 4 & 7 year old kids?

    • @Darewrecks415
      @Darewrecks415  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello PW. Thank you. I dont know how you travel. In ha long bay, dont assume that your boat will have a pool, movie theater, and nursery with people to watch your kids. to my knowledge there arent specific activities for young children. With that said, if they can and like swimming and exploring new locations, its fine. Day one was just getting there and settling in, followed by kayaking snd swimming. Day 2 was cat ba island which was either a bike ride or a cart to a village to learn the way of life followed by swimming. Day 3, was a morning cruise on a canoe to look for monkeys and see sites. I wouldnt say my cruise was kod friendly, and i could see my own niece getting bored. My advice is to see if they have a kid friendly cruise, if not, then if both your kids can swim and like exploring and seeing new things it could work. Remember the swimming is in the ocean, not a pool.

    How do you get seasick if you can play a game of pool aboard the boat ??? 🤔

    • @Darewrecks415
      @Darewrecks415  ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually didn’t get seasick, but i always do on boats. As for pool, you can only play for so long.

    May I have a question? Why dont you take a bus from Ninh Binh to Halong Bay, then back to Hanoi and go to Sapa. Cuz I see you go and back to HN many time. And the same with Hue, they also have a plane from Hue to Ho Chi Minh city, so you dont need to comeback to Danang to take a flight.
    Just curious about your plan ^^. Btw, thank you for visiting our country

      The flights from hue to ho chi minh were more expensive than da nang to ho chi minh. There was a huge price difference at the time. We looked at that as well. Vietnam is hella cool. Lived there 3 years and visited many times. Look forward to going back.

    What cruise did you do on Ha Long Bay?

    • @Darewrecks415
      @Darewrecks415  ปีที่แล้ว

      Damn! You got me. I honestly dont remember the name…however one of the guides on my trip is my friend on Zalo. I just texted him asking that information. As soon as he texts me back ill let you know regardless. But i have done ha long bay twice and both were pretty similar. However, i do remember the name of the hotel in ha noi that hooked us up with the cruise. Its called the Serendipity hotel in Ha Noi near Turtle Lake and St. Josephs cathedral. You could contact them and ask about their 5 star cruise. They offered a 4 star and 5 star and since the prices were similar we went with the 5 star.

    • @helselra
      @helselra ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Darewrecks415 awesome thank you!! haha we have been looking at a few of the cruises and cannot decide so definitely interested since it seemed like you had a great experience. ill check out the serendipity hotel for sure.

    • @Darewrecks415
      @Darewrecks415  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@helselra still waiting on the text. Im in california right now. Time zones are super different, but call the hotel and ask about their options and as soon as i hear from my boy, ill reply back to you. I was happy with our cruise, but im sure there are a variety of 5 star level cruises. The first trip i did to ha long bay was even better. I had a private suite and deck to myself, but i wasnt doing videos back then. So even within 5 star cruises some are more fancy than others.

      Thank you so much. That means a lot. I never visited the north during July because its one of the most rainy months and its super hot and humid. Id probably check out central Vietnam during that time.
