Hi Jackie, saloon is fine as the roads are well paved. SUV is always good for long drives. However if you don't have access to SUV, you can do trip in a saloon car without any problems. Cheers!
Thanks Jeet. I have an SUV actually. I understood from one video that saloon is best compared to SUV due to cross winds in desert. What's your view on this. What would be your advice on taking inland road or the coastal road?
@@jackiechan3009 ya that true. Cross winds are strong while you are crossing the desert however if you are at 120-140kmph, it's ok. Cross winds become problem only on speeds more than that. Cheers!
Hi! This is my own vechile but you can rent a car easily at the airport or in the city. You can find international brands like Europcar kiosks at the airport. Sedan will cost you somewhere between 13-20 omr while 4 wheel drive will cost you between 30-50 omr per day. Thanks!
That's a temprory paint to stop damage to original paint while riding through the empty quarters desert. The wind carries sand partials and act like sand paper when car cruises past the desert.

Hi,
why did you painted your car?
