I know, i was surprised too 😂😂😂. But I guess the American fast food is something very special for people living in sinaw - and regarding what we paid for dinner the other days when being on the road, the pizza place was definitly the most expensive!!!

Das gute ist auch am alleine reisen : wenn man mit männlichen Begleiter reist in einem so muslimischen Land, sprechen die einheimischen Männer aus Respekt nur ihn an. Wenn ich alleine bin müssen sie mir aber antworten weil es sonst auch unfreundlich ist - und so habe ich viel mehr Kontakt!

You'll think cool water when you swim in the Arctic Ocean. haha Beautiful location, hard to believe in the area. Maybe you need a camel on back, pick up the pace. You got a motel on back, rolled up with the tent. New York pizza, wonderful. Rinse the soles off in tub. Don't raise a hand, nod or even cough, you just bought a camel. Can't wait til next vid. Always fun

You know you are in a food desert when someone suggests Dominoes as the best restaurant in town ! However having a humble meal of Chi and pastry offered by a stranger would be a culinary highlight. Another enjoyable episode and remember it's not a perfect trip to Oman unless you get a little Camel shit in your shoes! Many Blessings.
😂😂😂 I love the expression food desert. My guess is though that there are just not many pizzerias at all in oman outside of muscat (I didn’t see any before), so I guess this one is considered as something special - even though all the other food probably would have been 100 times better!
I RECENTLY MOVED TO OMAN AS MEDICAL DOCTOR AND WAS LOOKING FOR BEST PLACE TO VISIT WITH FAMIL AND I GUESS WADI BANI KHALID WILL BE FIRST ON MY LIST AFTER WATCHING THIS VLOG .So much hard work and effort goes into making these kind of VLOGS... hats off to you

Unfortunately not - I was looking and asking around if there was a camel race somewhere near by, but it would have meant waiting for a few days and I didn’t have time anymore due to my flight back. But I would love to go to one!

To be honest I think the pizza joint is not the best food for sure - but outside muscat I have really not seen many restaurants that serve pizza or western food, so I think it’s just something special for the town and that’s why I was sent there. And: I actually enjoyed it more than I would have thought after having had basically only rice since weeks. 😍

Normally I would not even call the pizza a pizza, because it was not that great - but after not having had any western food for a while I actually quite enjoyed it! 😂😂😂

Los Gatos creek trail in California bay area has a reservoir at the top, and if it is hot enough, I go swim at the mid point of my run, and dry on the way back, also wonderful.
