My Exciting First Visit to Kings Island in Ohio | Record Breaking Coasters | Part One Vlog!!

- (Part One) In today's video it's my very first visit to one of my bucket list theme parks in the world Kings Island in Mason, Ohio. I can't even explain how excited I was to finally be at this iconic theme park with high level coasters all over the park. I bring you with me as this is my first time exploring this park but the very first thing that I do is of course head right over to Orion which is the newest roller coaster at Kings Island for a few rides with my big review. After that I ride flight of fear, the beast, mystic timbers, diamondback and the racer which is celebrating their 50th anniversary along with the park itself. I give you my full reviews of every single coaster that I was able to ride in my part one vlog. Plus I was able to have lunch at Miami River Brewhouse which is tied with the story from mystic timbers. Thank you so much for watching, if you enjoyed this video please give it a big thumbs up! This summer, I've gone to Mt. Olympus, Six Flags Great America, Kings Island, Cedar Point, and Hersheypark. Kings Island was the one that surprised me the most in a positive way. I regret not being there for the 50th anniversary last year but man the park is so gorgeous aesthetically. The ride ops were outstanding. I never waited longer than 20-25 minutes for any roller coaster. I definitely want to go back next summer, too bad it is 7 hours away! haha
This is my home theme park! Years ago, my husband and I lived down the road from here and would go every week! We always talked about how much we loved your videos and how we’d love to move to Florida one day. We now live in Orlando, so to see you at our old park is so nostalgic and heartwarming for us! Same here! We just got here in May. This is the only thing I'll probably ever be homesick over. Especially since we get a Skyline now.

Theme parks like this really do offer the best value. You get such great thrill rides and don’t have to be glued to your phone or be nicked and dimed to enjoy.

We used to live right by KI and watch the fireworks from our deck at night. So fun! Also, fun fact: The Racer used to have one side that went backwards. You haven't lived until you've ridden backwards on a wooden roller coaster!

Technically it’s a roller coaster of 300ft in height, although Orion is only 287ft its drop is 300ft because of the terrain, so it still makes it a giga coaster.

If you liked this park you should come to Canada and experience Canadas Wonderland. Has great coasters as well. It is owned by the same people. I think you would be very surprised! Its just a hop skip and a jump from where you are, in Vaughn Ontario near Toronto.

Kings island I haven’t been there in a loooog time! Cedar point is kinda closer to me (I live in Michigan) but so happy you are able to come farther north
I remember being so scared of the Beast as a kid. I used to ride the Beastie. I even rode the Vortex before getting the courage up to ride the Beast. Lol Needless to say I was very unimpressed will the fear everyone else in my family had. I don't enjoy wooden rollercoasters at all in my old age. I have to take Tylenol before I even get in line.

This is also my home theme park! I was born in Cincinnati & lived there until I was 12. I have a lot of family still in the area but I haven’t been in quite a few years. I have such great memories from my childhood going to K.I.! So good to see someone I follow finally vlogging there!

Holiday World is my home park, but I'm not too far from KI. I've had a season pass, mostly to goto KI AND CP as long as Cedar Fair has owned them. Thanks for your great video and I look forward to the others!

We've been pass holders for many years. I knew you would love it and glad you had a great time. Try to get back up here again and enjoy the waterpark and a few of the other rides. Kings Island is a well balanced park that offers something for everyone. I agree two days is better, sometimes too many rides on our coasters in one day can be hard on the body. It's good to break them up with the many relaxing fun rides. Two days is better to keep it from being overwhelming. I know you were here for the coasters and very happy you got to see my park after watching you at the Florida parks for years and getting a ton of useful info. Thank you for such an awesome review. Ohio hospitality says please come back and visit again.

Went to Kings Island for the first time last year and had an absolute blast!! First time on a coaster of Orion’s magnitude. The Beast is an amazing and somewhat painful experience especially if you sit in the back lol

I grew up as an 80s kid in Indiana going to this park many times and it will always have a special place in my heart. and also cedar point in Ohio is famous for its coasters also amazing been there a lot too.

Great place. I live within driving distance. I still have to say, the Beast is the best. Although my old bones may not agree 🤣😂🤣. Orion is awesome though, and soooo smooth.

Thanks for sharing! I've always wanted to visit Kings Island as well as the rest of the Cedar Fair (formerly Paramount, etc) Parks. Canada's Wonderland is our closest park, and it shares many of the same rides as Kings Island.. always a great time. Can'r wait to see the rest of your videos.

Mystic was a fabulous addition. Though we all joke, “what is in the shed?” The line that was so hyped up, is very anticlimactic.

I will always love FOF. The ride ops can always tell when someones nervous so theyll do a fun countdown my first time they said "Hang on just a moment folks we seem to be having a malfunction with the restraints" and then they sent us off it was terrifying and fun.

We love seeing you go to a lot of different places so that we can see what else is out there to visit outside of the Orlando area!
I first rode the Racer 40 years ago. At the time on one track the cars went backwards. I liked the backwards side best. The park used to be owned by Paramount and you would see Star Trek characters walking around. I loved the Scooby Doo ride. My daughter’s first roller coaster was the Beastie.

As a native of southwestern Ohio and having visited Kings Island since a kid, it’s so nice to see someone experience it for the first time! Makes me have a renewed appreciation for the park! It’s definitely a roller coaster lover’s park, for sure.
My home park! I grew up going Kings Island! I grew up in Columbus. Too bad Vortex is no longer there, that was my first ever upside down ride. Please tell me you rode The Beast!!! You can’t go to Kings Island without a ride on that! Banshee is where Son of Beast was located…you didn’t miss out on that. The Racer was also featured on The Brady Brunch.

Awe Man - You CANNOT CALL favorite after first ride. I can’t wait to see where you land by the end of this video. Also - I’m anxiously awaiting how you like The Beast, it is MY FAVORITE, must be done at night, but you also need to seat wisely for a less rough ride. The through the woods feel is not matched anywhere in all of parks and coasters we have ridden. Ok - on to watching more. This is so fun for me Thanks Dev!
