Added this video to my queue on a whim and I’m glad I did. Thanks for being extremely genuine and straight to the point, no excessive b-roll or pretentious dialogue just simple and easily enjoyable video on your Kyoto experience. Title did mislead me but overall chill video man. Thank you for this. It’s a breath of fresh air in the overwhelming catalogue of Kyoto travel videos. I definitely get what you were saying about seeing a lot more people walking around Japan with cameras lol I noticed that as well during my time over there. I’m looking forward to my next visit in late March. Take care and god bless! Cheers from Guam🌴
Me and my wife visited Kyoto for a week during our Japan trip last month. We saw many of the beautiful places you covered in your video, but for us the tourist-crowds were just a bit too much (we usally would start our day there around 7am). We visited Tokio, Osaka and Kobe first, so it was a stark contrast to the usual calm, quiet and respectful atmosphere we got used to in Japan (we are calm quiet people ourselves most of the time). If any of you who wants to visit feels the same i'll recommend to do it like Vlad and start your day before sunrise to avoid the crowds. Me and my wife decided, after covering the most important sights in Kyoto, to go on daytrips to Hijmeji, Nara and a long one to Hiroshima instead of staying in Kyoto. Overall it was a really good experience, thank you for the video, it helped me to relive some of these memorys (despite them beeing fresh, while there all these impression were somewhat overwhelming).
Hey!.. form Miami. As a somewhat regular traveler and a bit of a morning person, getting up relatively early and starting to explore new towns/cities is the best; particularly in high tourism destinations/areas.. I'm heading back to Belgium/ Netherlands in a couple of days and getting out of the hotel early each day (6:30ish ) also helps me beat the local commuter congestion on public transport on the way to different parts + the lines at the bakeries/cafes aren't too long yet. Continued happy travels Vlad!
@@MIA_DaDe Thanks so much🙏🏻 Ha nice, Miami is one of my favorite places to visit in the US. I couldn't agree more regarding early morning exploration. Sometimes feels like you have the world a bit to yourself. Makes it easier to process subtleties in the environment too. I wish you safe upcoming travels!
Thanks for watching! Have you been to Kyoto before? If so, what do you love about it? IF not, what would you like to see there?
