I do not use Glowforge premium. I design everything in the business edition of Silhouette Studio. Do you have any design software that you use? Any software that you can save your work to a PNG or SVG will work with Glowforge. You just simply upload your design in the GF app. If you're completely new to designing, I may be able to help you out in designing GF files for you. I'm opening a DIY craft event studio in October and my partner would like me to try to do things reasonably priced until I'm comfortable and we know if the glowforge premium is worth it!! I'll definitely be emailing for advice. Your products look amazing and I'd love to become that talented! 😄
I had to create a custom setting for the silicone. Check the timestamps for where I tell the settings I used. Do you know how to create and save a custom setting?
@@KeepCalmandCraftOn Thank you for the quick reply. I do have my settings saved. I just couldn't remember what I was using for the material setting. On a whim, I chose unspecified material and a thickness of .2 and my project came out great.

A Glowforge may not be right for everyone, but for me, it's been a great entry level laser. It's very user friendly and is helping me learn about using a laser when I had absolutely no experience when I started.

How big is your jig?
It's 5" at the top and 4.45" at the bottom. I used the template provided by JDS Industries.
