Great video. If you do a lot of metal engraving, there's a spray called Dry Moly Lube that can be used when marking metal and it's so much more affordable, I bought a can off of Amazon for $10.
I have heard about Dry Moly, but I also heard that it's don't good to laser (because the chemicals it releases). not sure how true that is, just have heard that.
2 things: did you peel off the plastic protector piece? I’ve done that before, it’s thin & clear and easy to miss. Second: if you have taken the plastic off, try more power/less speed

I am attempting to cover up previous engraved writing on a tablet. I've tried several attempt without success. Any advice?
I don't know if you're going to be able to unless you are doing a new engraving that is larger than the original (like a tattoo cover up)
Any suggestions on why once I rinse off the metal marking. My entire design wipes off, so I'm stuck with a blank again 🥺

Would this work for belt buckles too?
I don't see why it wouldn't. I would always test the material in a small area before committing to a full design.
does this only work with the Plus?
Nope - will work on all models ❤️
Would just covering the metal with vinyl work?
You totally could put vinyl on metal - but it won’t be permanent
@@ashleefalco I mean to cover it for cutting... instead of spraying it.
ah no. The spray has some sort of reaction to the metal vinyl wouldn't do it. Also - lasering any vinyl is very very bad for you and your machine.
@@ashleefalcoFinally laser safe vinyl!
