He had personal stuff and Jeff Capel (Pitt coach) took a chance on him when in his own words no one else wanted to and it worked out beautifully once he took Hoops really seriously (last 2 years led all the NCAA in 3’s and %). But I’d assume that path and his age led him to fall in the draft
