Good luck this spring, everyone! Here is a collection of some of my spring favorites we have posted on the channel so far. If you don’t tie and want to try them out, you can find them on my website here -> www.mainely-outdoors.com/flies Or pick up the needed materials and support the channel here -> collabs.shop/wrl2ir
This channel is so ASMR. I’m, probably, years away from fly tying (I still gonna learn to not suck at simply casting and even fly fishing in any amount of wind) but you are so relaxing to listen too.
Finally! A fly tying video for more advanced tyers who know the techniques and materials already and don't care to watch endless fussing with the basics. Thank you.
I don't fly fish, nor how to effectively...Maybe one day I'll give it a try....But I must say...I really enjoy watching you create these. It's an art in it self. Keep it up.
No problem, Glad you enjoy them! Now that we have so many, it's helpful to break them into categories. Many people have also requested these longer ones to keep the videos running when at the vice.
#Flies I absolutely love your videos and tutorials! Your attention to detail and simplicity of technique has encouraged me to get into fly fishing and fly tying!
You should sell the components for these flies as a kit. Do many 10 fly videos with a link to the components kit. Would be great for you and us. Thanks
Why do you put thread wraps behind the material? The wraps that don’t go over the material you’re tying off aren’t doing anything but adding extra thread.
Also im going to be ordering some of your flys until i get started. My plans were to make some to use with a spinner rod but nowvi think ill learn to fly fish
I don’t like the size of them. I’ve just got use to how to control the lighter and prefer it. The thread zapper takes up too much bench space for how little is use it. But everyone’s opinion is different on that.

Thanks, Devin, I hope you do get to try it one day
This short, fast tie video format has quickly become my goto to learn and teach tying. Thanks Mainely Flies!
Nice to you both out on the water and enjoying yourselves.
We all know how frustrating fishing can be. Keep smiling and tight lines
These long Videos are great🙌
I'll have to tie some of your patterns!
Thank you for the Videos Jesse☝️

@@da_bammer Always the case in fly tying haha! But that one is well worth making
This is arts and crafts for men.
And i support it
You have the perfect voice for this! You should do voice over stuff. Your flys are amazing btw and they always look awesome.
This is so relaxing to watch.. like a fishing lava lamp
This is literally my ASMR, look forward to the longer type videos!

I brushed my beard out to give it a nice, buggy look, and the lady friend was not happy _at all._
Absolutely tying up these patterns to fish the loughs here in Ireland. Tightlines and go raibh maith agat
Anyone else not even a fly fisherman and is a traditional fisherman who just enjoys these vods for background noise and relaxing😂

#Flies I'm new to this site and excited to see all the generously shared knowledge here. Thank you!
I already got the skunk out this season in the Adirondack’s! Thank you for the video and content! Tight lines! 🎣
Well done, Zach! We are still waiting for most of our rivers to open up here in Maine. Won't be long, though!
#Flies I absolutely love your videos and tutorials! Your attention to detail and simplicity of technique has encouraged me to get into fly fishing and fly tying!
Glad to hear it! How have you enjoyed it so far?
EXCELLENT VIDEO AND CLEAR CONCISE INSTRUCTION
#Flies Thanks for all the videos. I've got a lot of your patterns in my boxes. Keep up the great work.
Glad you like them Jon! Have they landed you some fish yet this spring?
Just here for fly recommendation.
Amazing how you get so close to the hook point without touching it with the thread. Not damaging the thread.
I’m going to learn from all of this
#Flies I love your flies they are simple and easy to follow along to.
Wow just amazing, how much for 1 of each of those flies made.
Congratulations, very good ideas. And well-groomed fingernails for once. 💅
“Give it that nice buggy look”
Thank you for these great flies. #fly

Could you make tutorials of flies for bluegill and other panfish?
I like to tie flies, but there is no trout where I live so...
And...snip the excess free.
Hi, which uv resin is used with the little fine brush please? Thankyou 🙌🏻

@@MainelyFlies thankyou 🙏🏻
#flies just discovered your videos today, relatively new to Euro down in Maryland/Pennsylvania! My new tutorial and ASMR channel 😂

Great videos. Still super new to tying.

Is there a channel of you using the flies or other social media platforms?
Yup here on TH-cam @mainelyoutdoors
Fly tying
👍
I looked at your channel and still haven’t found a spotted lantern fly pattern. Here in south eastern pa I’ve seen many trout eat them
There is none up yet. We don’t have those up here in Maine. So I don’t tie them but I’ll have to add one in at some point
My high ass just spent a hour watching you make these with no intention of ever fly fishing lol
#flies I can't wait until the ice is off my local lakes
Shouldn't be long! Always goes so fast
