Happy for both of y'all and happy for me to tag along and see some incredible browns and just trout fishing beautiful Colorado water in general. Onward to Pt. 2.
The best video of you and Andrew together, Jon. That's a memory maker for real. Two incredible brow nies on top of the Birthday gift. It doesn't get any better than that. Awesomeness comes in many forms and Hardman Fishing Adventures is right at the top of the list.
Beautiful brown trout guys! I envy the waters y’all get to fish with browns that size. Browns are my favorite fish to target especially in fall. A giant where I live is 18”-20”. Keep it up guys!
So cool you guys hit a place I've been. I immediately knew where you guys were from the thumbnail. Makes me believe that I might just run into my favorite youtuber on the river some day.
Fished every branch of that stream in the “park” and climbed all the 14ers and 13ers in the background! So cool to see these guys killing it where I grew up. Just Don’t eat at Caka (Casa) Sanchez in FairPlay! 😂. Worst Mexican food in the world!
Fabulous fish and what magnificent scenery. I'll never get my head round measuring trout by length and not weight. Those big fish looked about 5lb to me. I'm so envious of you having all those wonderful streams and rivers open for the public to fish.
That is A LOT of walking out there in the middle of nowhere. I always wondered where folks parked when I would drive by there and see people fishing. KUDOS!!!
Man I wish the fish were that nice out here in CT, we have good fisheries but fish like these are quite rare. Impressive how you can find em on your down time outside your day jobs. Don't know if you both have significant others but I doubt it when spending majority of your free time fishing 😆
If you want some real pigs try the Great Lakes, But then again those trout are big and the colors are awesome! Out west there's so many species and sub species, it's a trout fisherman's dream!
I'm so grateful for fly fishing. It gives me a unique understanding of the environment that others don't get. Most people would not understand how water quality is critical to having a special place. Those rivers, influenced by well-intended suburban development, and all kinds of industry may, at times, have the appearance of being a gem, but, can't hide the troubled conditions that the aquatic aspect of the environment is subject to. As a result, fly fishing tends to be better in the upper parts of the watershed, places like Colorado, where development is concentrated on the Front Range.
Bro troutroutes literally uses PUBLIC INFO on the app to help people with far more than just finding public access points. If you think Troutroutes is spotburning then you either A) don’t understand what the app is or anything about public data or B) just don’t like the idea of an app in fishing. Which hopefully it’s the second option because at least that one I understand 😂 I also never once mention where I’m at and do my best to keep out any super obvious landmarks. Any competent angler has been using at least one public land access map for years now 😂 anyways thanks for watching!
100% @JoshHobson. I agree - this IS a spot burning app. Innovation destroys the joy and mystique of discovery and seclusion yet again. Spots that have taken years to "earn" the right to know about or paid dues on to discover now can be found by any Simms clad 20 something. Sad to see the app sponsoring; but a couple of young TH-camrs like this were probably overjoyed with the offer to support the channel.
Got to ask where your fishing I live in Colorado and just started fly fishing caught big rainbows but no good browns, any recommendations on where to go if you are fine with sharing them.
Man, it would be an honor to cross paths with ya’ll up there! In the spring hit four Mile creek. Caught the biggest brown of my life in that lil dink of a stream.
That rainbow you had on at 2:00 was absolutely pure ACCIDENT. You were walking away when it hit. LMAO. At least you admitted it instead of pretending you MEANT to do that.
Why does it matter? He clearly handled the fish well, and it happens all the time, especially on streamers. Accident or not, he still caught the fish fair and square.
Do you use sink tip line on your new 6wt for steamers? Also just scooped a new 6/7 and have no clue how to rig for streamer fishing and you seem to have it down to a science
Enjoyed the video. The one comment I have is that your net is too small for such large fish. I also find that the curved bottom nets keep the fish's head out of the water. Though I also have FishPond nets, I switched to using flat bottom nets and have no regrets. They can be very affordable. I bought mine from Tactical Fly Fisher.
I am a comp angler and have never seen streamer fishing before it looks like a blast. What streamers would you guys recommend? (Not containing 2 or more hooks just to keep it competition legal.)
You still got time my dude, we warm as heck still 5 days into October. Also< i really need to get my ass out to these locations. I know where you're fishing, I just need to get off my ass. Also, it becomes SUCH A fricking zoo.... I hate it.
Ehhhh we saw them making Redds at the end of this trip 😂 if you’re fishing make sure you’re staying out of the water as much as possible, especially in the riffles. But yeah, we were fishing during the week and were lucky to find a place to park a few areas
What is a hog streamer? I have never heard of it? Can u help me with this? Thanks, sorry for all the questions. Help with this would be really appreciated
I know I’ve thought about it, even got a second camera to help mitigate that. But I hate bringing around 2 or 3 cameras just on the off chance my GoPro is facing down. I’d rather just deal with the occasional bad shot 😂
Just curious. Browns are the only species that can grow to trophy size in the Southeast and I assume your home waters as well so why wouldn't you want to target giant rainbows when fishing out West. Awesome video as always but the cutbows and rainbows were the coolest part for me.
Ehh I can catch big rainbows out east too. So those rainbows (cut bows actually) weren’t all that interesting / different. Plus just the time of year I was there I was searching for one thing. Put me on those same waters in April and I’m looking for rainbows and not browns 😂
Yeah there’s a reason I don’t say where I’m at 😂 I’d be dropping the pin for tens of thousands of people. Just do your own research and find the water yourself! It’s much more rewarding that way anyways.
Looks like the S Platte R. Tip, when things are slow I used grasshoppers on barbless hooks, despite the regs I’m into catching fish. Barbless and I let them go
Why catching all these fish and always release them again..? When I went fishing as a young boy I kept my fish and had them cooked. Don’t think these fish enjoy to me caught , measured and released again. This to me is weird sport. 😊😊😊😊
The fall colors are so beautiful, and the browns just match them perfectly
It’s my favorite time of year!
This place is pumping them out almost NZ quality. Nice work.
Happy for both of y'all and happy for me to tag along and see some incredible browns and just trout fishing beautiful Colorado water in general. Onward to Pt. 2.
Thanks for watching!!
Absolute corker Brownies 👌
When i go fishing, i feel like the King of the world. ❤

Thank you so much Tony! Glad you enjoyed this one
I fly fish in Zimbabwe and our brown trout don't even get close to that size so congrats on that monster of a brown trout.
Very, very recognizable: hours fishing without a spark and then suddenly finding paradise..
Finding paradise makes the hours of grinding worth it
Beautiful brown trout guys! I envy the waters y’all get to fish with browns that size. Browns are my favorite fish to target especially in fall. A giant where I live is 18”-20”. Keep it up guys!
Sweet brown!!!!
Great gift Andrew!
Fun to watch you guys fish together!
We don’t get to do it as much now! He’s still my favorite fishing buddy
So cool you guys hit a place I've been. I immediately knew where you guys were from the thumbnail. Makes me believe that I might just run into my favorite youtuber on the river some day.
Never know where we’ll end up! But yeah Andrew lives out there so that’s slightly more likely than other states 😂
Fished every branch of that stream in the “park” and climbed all the 14ers and 13ers in the background! So cool to see these guys killing it where I grew up.
Just Don’t eat at Caka (Casa) Sanchez in FairPlay! 😂. Worst Mexican food in the world!
As someone who also bass fishes, that hookset at 8:42 was so satisfying 😂
That monster brown at 14 minutes was huge! Congrats!
Thank you!!
Great fish!! Was this public water or private? Congratulations👍👍👍👍👍!!!!!!
so suspenseful!
Oh I know right where you are at. Tight line boys. Thanks for the invite 🤣🤣

ooooh, suspense !! great job today bois! It made my rainy morning 🤩
Glad we could make your rainy morning!!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy the videos and thanks for the kind words
Awesome! Can't wait for part 2 👍👍
Beautiful spot
unbelievable fishing I can't wait for the part two
Thank you!!
Did not disappoint

Felicitaciones que buen video y excelentes capturas, que genialidad pescar con stremears rio arriba 👏👏👏
🔥🔥🔥 i would love to fish waters like these.
Wow, epic fly fishing vid. Thank you for posting. You snagged some serious monsters. Awesome.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the vid
I just love your videos.
I always dream to catch fish like those you catch.
Glad you enjoy the videos!!
You need to come to Alberta ! I got you guys.
Nice job mann. Really imppresed . I learnt a lot from you. Thank you 😀
If you want some real pigs try the Great Lakes, But then again those trout are big and the colors are awesome! Out west there's so many species and sub species, it's a trout fisherman's dream!
To quickly take up your extra line at your feet, have you tried the palming the spool method rather than cranking?
* me hearing the wind blow for 10 minutes *
The wind is awful 💅😂😂 finally
wow that was some fish and a cliff hanger!
awesome. congratulations
Excellent video bro,. Well done
Thank you!
Alam yg indah nice brother 👍

I know several bait anglers who are devout conservationists.
Platt? Looks familiar. Great vid!
Trout season just opened here in Australia, I have one more day of work than I'm hitting the streams. I am frothing at the bit!
Heck yeah!!! That’s awesome. Good luck!
badass! beautiful germans
I love this video
Thank you!
"In a little while this place is going to be a zoo" "Anyways this video is sponsored by the number 1 spot burning app in the world trout routes"

Nothing secret about that spot 😂
Way to defend your paid sponsor bro…
can you show me more how to pick up/hold a fish and how to unhook it? Im very new to fishing. Thanks!
Awesome video! September browns are a blast
They’re my favorite! Thanks for watching
Dude that brown was a Moby Dick brown for a stream that size .....WOW LETS GO!!!
Got to ask where your fishing I live in Colorado and just started fly fishing caught big rainbows but no good browns, any recommendations on where to go if you are fine with sharing them.
Looks beautiful out there.
It’s incredible
Man, it would be an honor to cross paths with ya’ll up there!

Awesome Fishing!
That's dirty leaving us hanging like that......great video
Had to do it 😂😂😂 thanks for watching!
Bday present a month before???? Nice Andrew 😂
Incredible fishing as always guys! Wonder how long those fish are exactly? 🤔
Gotta fish the Lake Ontario tribe in NY. We get some real good browns out of it(10+ lb browns)
That rainbow you had on at 2:00 was absolutely pure ACCIDENT. You were walking away when it hit. LMAO. At least you admitted it instead of pretending you MEANT to do that.
Heckkk no I had no idea what was happening! But I’d rather be lucky than good 😂 thanks for watching!
Why does it matter? He clearly handled the fish well, and it happens all the time, especially on streamers. Accident or not, he still caught the fish fair and square.
Great video
Thank you!
I think I saw Charles Ingles and his little house on the Pierre 😂
😂😂😂😂
What weight rod were you using??
Do you use sink tip line on your new 6wt for steamers? Also just scooped a new 6/7 and have no clue how to rig for streamer fishing and you seem to have it down to a science
Nope, floating line for this type of fishing! Or a mono rig, depends. In this video I’m using floating line and Andrew is throwing a mono rig
Enjoyed the video. The one comment I have is that your net is too small for such large fish. I also find that the curved bottom nets keep the fish's head out of the water. What kind of streamers were you using? Also do you think a 5wt would be big enough to throw them?
I am a comp angler and have never seen streamer fishing before it looks like a blast. What streamers would you guys recommend? (Not containing 2 or more hooks just to keep it competition legal.)
Hello what weight size of rod were you using for these big fish?? thanks
He says in the video the exact rod T&T sextant in 6wt
This time of year everything is running so low, that 2nd fiver has me stumped, what river is moving that much water right now? lol
@@scoobz1080p I was thinking the same thing...

Man that was a tank of a brown
Thank you!
What size rod are you using?
Great video. What streamer were you using. In Montana we have been down size on the streamers as of late
We also downsized, mostly smaller hog streamers
What is a hog streamer? I have never heard of it? Can u help me with this? Thanks, sorry for all the questions. Help with this would be really appreciated
@@davidpolk8676 he meant jig not hog
Oh. I just did not know what kind of jig?
Set the hook, sprint downstream, lol
Those silly fish do that stupid alligator roll and I have to run down stream or risk losing pressure 😂 it’s so annoying
Amazing video and some beautiful fish what are some of the streamers you guys were throwing
Mostly smaller jig streamers!
I might be nitpicking but do you ever consider mounting your gopro a different way (ie a head mount)? It's kinda lame seeing the ground.
Get bent nerd
I know I’ve thought about it, even got a second camera to help mitigate that. But I hate bringing around 2 or 3 cameras just on the off chance my GoPro is facing down. I’d rather just deal with the occasional bad shot 😂
Great video, loved the brownies that west, I was first, can I please get a pin?
😳😳😳

@@hardmanfishing The real question is how did you get that stream to yourself? for such an amazing stream it's strange not to see anyone fishing it.
I really hope that wasn’t the noise of the rod snapping at the end
Where is this? It looks so familiar. Is this up by Walden or Gunnison?
Andrew, next year get him a bigger net for his birthday.
I have a bigger net, it’s Andrew who needs to get one!! Maybe I’ll buy him a net for his birthday 😂
What reel and rod is being used?
I am in love with fly fishing, will never disappoint, it brings me closer to the Lord. I feel my best when I see all of his creation.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
where in Colorado are you?
literally a pumpkin
Let them spawn.
Yessir!
you guys need to keep them out of the water much longer....That 10 minutes just isn't enough
Both of those Browns were whales
Excellent video! I wish you guys would say where you're at. I'd love to go there
Well, those of us that live here are GLAD he doesn't say where he's fishing. Our waters are INSANELYY pressured enough.

Stopped watching when the trout routes ad came on. STOP SPOT BURNING KOOKS.
Why to torture fish if you do not eat them? Idiot action.
The promotion of your app is such a boner shrinker I decided to move on.
It’s not my app… also getting upset and leaving a comment instead of just skipping the add is a bold move 😂
Fraud bro. Did you promote that app for free? LIAR
