@@callyclarinet I didn't play since 20 year. It's the only advice I can give for now haha😁 I bought a clarinet few month ago, but I'm not practicing enough since... Thank you for your video. It remind me to practice :) :)
I just have two questions (I'm a beginner). 1) Would liquid Peroxide work? If so, would I have to dip it in quickly then wipe it off after a few seconds or so? 2) I have a Jupiter brand swab, the material feels rubbery and smooth.. should that be something to worry about or would a I be fine?
Peroxide will sanitize the mouthpiece, but vinegar will sanitize and also get the white deposits off. If you soak it too long in peroxide it could potentially bleach your mouthpiece. Not sure about the swab...
Most music shops will have them in stock, or you can order from an online retailer. I usually buy the green Yamaha microfiber swabs or the red Vandoren microfiber swabs.
Camille is hands down the star of the video. Thanks for the tips!
Thanks a lot! This video really helps!
And if you stay at home, let your swab dried outside of the clarinet box. The quicker it's dried, the less bacteria you'll have on it.
Forgot about that, thank you!

is it better to use cotton or microfiber? swab? new to clarinet?
Microfiber is best (cotton can get stuck easily and can leave little fibers behind in the clarinet).
where do you buy your swabs?..

Look at that nice glass. Is someone a whisky drinker?
