48:54 Yes the Shakers were here in New England. I’m from NH and we have a historic place called Shaker Village. I guess it’s good they didn’t marry and reproduce, so their heresy died off with them…well not entirely. I’m sure some of what they taught and practiced can be found in other heterodox groups. Sad when people can be so devout and yet so confused and even crazy.

Small world. I lived up there for 2 years, but started getting into Orthodoxy after I moved back to Muncie lol

Yes indeed, the husband takes up the cross to be crucified and die, to be raised again by God.
