As a kid in the 80's... we didn't have extra money... I got to pick out one gi joe every few weeks from Bi-Mart... I started collecting in 1984, and my siblings destroyed my collection in 1988. I was 10. I was heartbroken. (I also didn't know I could have put them back together with new o-rings... I started collecting again when I was 12, making my own money mowing neighborhood lawns... I kept collecting throughout my teen years... even though I didn't play anymore, I still kept buying when I could... now I'm grown, paid my dues, earned my way through life, had my setbacks, learned my lessons... and I am still collecting... just turned 45. Now I purchase a minimum of two classified figures with every release.... why? I don't know.... so I guess I'm losing the battle.
Man this line has becoming too overwhelming, especially the Cobra army building. I’m not sure if I just get the main big characters or go all the way. I’m definitely starting to miss out on some of these, especially the exclusives.
Not sure if anyone noticed this but, some of the weapons are literally from Hasbro's Nerf series. Longstrike, Rapidstrike etc :) take a close look at some of the AR and Sniper Rifles lol
Once Hasbro went plastic free with their packaging , I just stopped collecting their product cold turkey , as a MOC collector I have zero use for those plastic free Hasbro crap bind boxes , there is such a hole in my collection at this point over multiple lines ( Classified , Black Series , D&D , Power Rangers , Transformers . ) that I am not even going to try to pick the lines back up again , just started liquidating what I do have.. FU HASBRO !!! MOC FOREVER !!! Hope Hasbro stops making figures all together .. EAD !!!
I Totally HATE” the fact ROCK N ROLL didn’t come with his signature Miniguns at all.. Why would they give him a M-60 the same gun RoadBlock uses?? 🤷🏽♂️ Rock N Roll uniform was also one of the most iconic as well.. The Hat and Gatling guns Made him who he truly was.. 😮
The Snake Eyes movie was a total disappointment. Outside of Snake being trained by The Arashakage clan was a totally made up. I don't know where they got the idea to change everything from his entire backstory to his nationality was a bummer
God effing damn it hasbro is just killing it with the Gi Joe classified line... My favorite Classified figure has to be Rock and Roll... Love his Devil Horns hand... Its funny to see religiously Nutjobs losing their 💩 when they view him😂😂😂😂
For me as a nostalgic collector I must say the weapons of the earlier figures is...awful. The figures on the other hand is fantastic on most. Not a big fan of first Cobra commander though.
That is so stupid, PG-13 means adults only! How in the hell does that make sense? Adults only means R as in restricted! Teenager is not adult! 13 is barely young adult if you are being kind. Puberty doesn't make you adult..... LOL

The plastic free packaging didn’t bother me much at all. I do like seeing the figures more but it didn’t stop me from buying those figures.
Recondo was introduced 3.75 in the 1984 line.
