You've got to hand it to Bigger Brother-they won against two of the most feared Robot Wars contestants (Chaos 2 and Hypno-Disc), and were still running after facing Razer!
As a Razer fan, I'm happy Razer got their well-earned title this Series, but I would not have been upset at all had Bigger Brother won.

You've got to feel sorry for Bigger Brother, in their run to the Grand Final they had to fight Chaos 2, Hypno-Disc and then Razer. It was a well-earned win for Razer, but I'd have loved to see Bigger Brother win it just for that run...
If Razer comes back as a house robot....
Razer is confirmed as returning as headliner and competitor.
Razer as a house robot though... Everyone would avoid that corner like the plague.

"Razer's feel has the touch of cold steel" that sounds like something ripped out of a heavy mettal song.
Flipping them makes them a lot easier to push around the arena, into a pit or towards the edge of the arena or whatever. It also causes damage if it's powerful enough, look at Chaos 2 in the Series 4 Final, it chucked Stinger and Pussycat all over the arena causing enough damage to win the right.
I think Razer vs Hypnodisc would be close but that disc would have to drive under that claw - and the claw is just metal, not technicals.

imagine if this fight was Hypno-Disc VS Razer how good would that macth be and i think the sterlin moss of robot wars (Hypno-Disc) would be crowned

everyone seems to drive straight onto the scoop/beak combo of razer. that is just ian lewis's great driving.

And 1 pincer is vastly more effective than two or three, because the pressure gets spread over a wider area which means less piercing.
I keep wondering what would have happened if Razer met Typhoon 2 and Storm II.

They nearly fought twice. This fight with Bigger Brother was very nearly against Hypno-Disc and they nearly fought on Extreme, but decided it wasn't worth the damage to their robots.

Is anyone going to mention that Razor started moving on 1 and made contact with Bigger Brother on Activate?
agreed truegetting the robot to flip on its back so it cant move is smart but they cant do anything to them without flipping them back over thus dismissing any point of flipping them over in the first place
@EmanPlay Razer too strong for other robots? So that's why other robots have beaten it then?
Tell me if I'm wrong Razer never came up against any distraction spinning disc did they. if so with who? cause i don't think they ever did, in my opinion hypno disc would have destroyed them in the first blow cause the rose boys are more clever then the Razer team when it comes to controlling. but if Razer gets hold of them from the back then it could be a different story but like i said rose boys are to clever.

Razer could have faced Hypnodisc I think in every series both fought in.
I do feel that Razer, if it hadn't broke down, would have won series 2 and 3, making it the most successful UK robot ever.

It would depend if Razer could get around Hypnodisc's disc. Keep in mind that spinners are a clamp's weakness.
Should of Been Razor Hypno fight, bigger brother were fortunate enough to win against Hypno, especially when 70% of the time they juat took damage. Would of been the greatest grand final ever, imagine razor being damaged for once or even hypnos blade smashing to bits by razor. I could only dream. The robot match we should of had regardless of this final.
One day i came across a rookie video of razer street fighting. The owners of razer said that he was just a prototype for the real thing. Kinda interesting they cam this far

@EmanPlay They did face Tornado twice with the anti-crush web and the second time Razer fought them they had Tornado pinned longer than what was permitted and they allowed it. Supposedly they gave the win to Razer but the team forfeited the fight over to Tornado. If they think the way Tornado fights is legit then I'm with them on that.

Razor is really well designed that's why it does do well it battle, it can price enemy robots and then carry them over fire. Razor is good defensively or offensively,
no its the same beak throughout the entire series. razer has about 9 tonns ber square inch. but the tip (point) is less than an inch so it works out at 3 ton of force at the tip and about 9 at the back/bast of the claw

@EmanPlay First off Tornado didnt cheat. If it was cheating then it wouldnt have been awarded the victory. Secondly what about Pussycat? Beat Razer TWICE. Aggrobot in series 3? Inquisitor in series 2? ALL BEAT RAZER. Why do you think it only won series 5?

Razer should come back as a house robot its a champion watching this as a kid no other robot stood out like razer did once it pinned a robot it was fucked mainly because is had about 2000 pounds of pressure in the pincer haha

I got really mad when Bigger Brother beat Hypno Disc, which meant that we got denied Razer vs Hypno Disc, so this was extremely cathartic for me

Warhead never appeared on Robot Wars. It was built specifically for Battlebots.

Flipping Razer would actually be a good tactic considering how long it takes to self right, if you’re able to outmanoeuvre it. get around the side, flip it then ram it into the arena wall into a position where it can’t self right or flip it out of the arena

Never gonna happen.
Razer is retired from combat, and contracts wouldn't allow that to happen anyway. Because of their contracts with Robot Wars & Battlebots, they can't appear on any other TV show.

I think the only robot could beat Razer was Hypnodisc.
but i said COULD. Razer was too strong for everyone... but if team Rose could impede Razer to damage Hypnodisc's back side, it was a success. Razer cannot damage Hypnodisc's disc. His weapon is too slow, and the disc too hard and fast. Then if Hypnodisc destroyed something on Razer, maybe it would have been broken
I think Robotwars was canceled because Razor was just too damn good.

it's boring that one robot was so overpowered to anyone else, but lets admit it, razer was a brilliant design.
Hardly overpowered, pussycat beat it twice. And none if the razer copycats were anywhere near the success of razer. Flippers and discs were main types of robots that succeeded
@RaymondBriggs666 i wouldn't say the rose's were too clever and would out control razer, razer was one of the best robots with great control and handling, and ian lewis the driver was great with razer, and if i remember correctly hynodisc and poor handling and control down to the small wheels and longer wheel base than razer
All you would need to beat Razer is a big, heavy, powerful 1m³ box on wheels that they couldn't fit the beak over lololololol
